Esta antigua casa fuerte, construida en el siglo XV, fue transformada en el siglo XVIII en un bonito castillo con aspecto barroco. En el siglo XIX se llevaron a cabo otras restauraciones: las alucinaciones de las torres se reconstruyen en un estilo neogótico, los estucos del gran salón, saqueados durante el paso de los Prusianos en 1870, están totalmente renovados. Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, el castillo es requisado por los alemanes para alojar a funcionarios y servicios. Luego son los estadounidenses los que lo ocupan. En 1946, el castillo figura en el inventario de monumentos históricos. Pertenece a la familia de Saint-Seine. El trato del propietario, Roland de Saint-Seine, es encantador. Durante la visita, descubrirás la capilla, la cocina abovedada, el gran salón. ¡Un verdadero viaje a la época de Luis XV! El interior es sublime: paredes de estuco con mármol, techos a 7-8 metros de altura, esculpidos, dorados. El parque, bordeado por el canal de Borgoña, es inmenso. Es posible alojarse en el castillo: Hay 5 habitaciones acondicionadas para acoger a turistas. Auténticas, amplias, con un bonito mobiliario antiguo, decoradas con grabados y cuadros de época, dan a los fosos y al parque. Un lugar mágico, fuera del tiempo.

Absolutely amazing place to stay in fairy tale castle. The beautiful building is full of history and lovely details, and very good service let us feel welcomed. Noemi showed us the haste and told us the history of the building and the owner’s family. We had very spacious and exceptional family room on the first floor. The view and all ambiance were truly exceptional.

We stayed at Château de Longecourt for three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Upon arrival, Noemie warmly welcomed us and gave a wonderful tour of the château, including its charming chapel and the historic wall paintings left by American soldiers during World War II.||The château is a true masterpiece of art and history, with exquisite details that make walking through it feel like stepping back in time. ||Breakfast each morning was delightful—fresh croissants, homemade jams, and delicious coffee, the perfect start to the day. ||After a day of exploring, we would bring some food back and enjoy dinner while watching the sunsets from the bridge connecting the château to the gardens. Wine, beer, and cheese and charcuterie boards were also available at any time.||As a bonus, there’s a wood-heated jacuzzi for guests, which we absolutely loved. ||We’ll definitely be returning soon! Thank you for an unforgettable stay at this beautiful château.

Für unsere Reise nach Italien suchten wie eine schöne Unterkunft . Was kann es besseres geben, als in einen Schloss zu übernachten? Es war kurz gesagt atemberaubend! Eine sehr besondere Unterkunft, in welcher man doch eher mehr als eine Nacht bleiben sollte, um alles zu erfassen. Das Schloss ist in weiten Teilen zugänglich, man hat den Eindruck, dort zu wohnen. Lizzy vom Schloss war noch die besondere weitere positive Ergänzung des ganzen. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und kommen sicher wieder, diesmal dann mit Freunden.

Highlight of our trip and of my life! It’s very unique that this chateau has been run by the same family for hundreds of years, not managed by professional hoteliers or hotel chain. The books on bookshelves were like hundreds years old. The owners actually live there so it is a very real, heart warming experience.
Please do not expect a fancy toilet or anything like that. Bear in mind that you are staying in a historic building.

Soirée et nuit agréable ,cependant à cause du manque d'encadrement,digne de cet endroit .Les séjourants sont livrés à eux même .Les jeunes étudiants ont besoin d'être coachés . Les stocks sont mal géré ,pas de vin dispo sur la carte ?Et le lendemain matin pain rassis dans les corbeilles ,pas de vienoiserie ,avec pour réponse :"la boulangerie était fermée" Pour le prix ces chambres d'Hôtes sont chers ,à cause du parsonnel||Bien sur j'en informe la direction régionale de l'organisme qui supervise le Chambres d'hotel de la région .Une visite surprise s'impose .
