El pequeño Fué tuvo la nariz cuando se cruzó la de estos dos apasionados de vino, Florida y Victoria Lemstra. Chateau Canet es el fruto de su reunión, Flors trabajaba en el comercio del vino de Borgoña en Beaune y Victoria en las bodegas de Meursault. La combinación de una verdadera pasión, de una conducción de trabajo de los viñedos en la agricultura razonada, pero también de una región arcilla-calcárea, de una bodega con equipamientos modernos, y de vinos que envejecen en barriles antiguos, anuncia una evidencia: los vinos del Domaine han sido recompensados varias veces. Además de la mayoría de Syrah, el chardonnay tiene una buena parte en el terreno. Las célebres vides como el rubro y el borboulenc que constituyen la base de los minerales blancos se disputan los favores de los aficionados al vino con las asambleas de syrah (roussanne y bourboulenc). El gran potencial del cuvée "Los Evangiles" es elevado en barriles de roble de Borgoña. Podrás encontrar aquí, además de los vinos de la propiedad, productos de la tierra: aceite de oliva, manchadas, mermeladas, mieles… Los huéspedes podrán visitar los fines de semana descubridos como vinos y gastronomía, Vin & Truffes, Vin & Vendanges, Vin & Vin con talleres prácticos.

Victoria and the rest of the team at Canet were a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and exceeded our (and our guests’s) expectations during the event itself. The phrase ‘best wedding ever’ has been a common one amongst our friends and family. We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to get married at Château Canet and look forward to visiting again in the future.
The stunning and rural grounds make a beautiful setting, with so many areas to hold different parts of the day, it feels like you have access to many venues rather than one!
One of the main things that makes Chateau Canet stand out is the hospitality & support of Victoria and her team - from the detailed yet relaxed approach to planning (giving us as the couple the opportunity to have things exactly as we would like) to making our guests feel completely at home during their stay, and helping them with anything they needed.
Location wise, it's extremely convenient to travel from Carcassonne airport yet feels completely secluded once there.
We made memories here with friends & family we will never forget and wouldn't have changed a thing - if you're looking to host a unique wedding weekend, we can't recommend Chateau Canet enough!

The venue is beautiful, the wine is fantastic, and Victoria and her team are absolute legends. We recently had our wedding here and every single one of our guests remarked that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. Obviously the location and the weather played a huge part in their enjoyment, but quite frankly, the location and weather would mean little if it weren't for the efforts of Victoria and her team. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone was warm, friendly, and welcoming.
Victoria's little black book of suppliers removed all the stress from arranging the DJ, florist, photographer, makeup artist, caterers, and the rest. The kitchen was kept stocked with their wonderful selection of wines ... La Blanquette was a particular favourite of our group. The gites are clean and comfortable. The surroundings are impeccably maintained. And even the freshly ground coffee was incredible. And of course, Nelson and Miles. Victoria's loyal canine companions who followed her everywhere. Beautiful, gentle dogs that all of our guests fell in love with.
The only bad thing about the venue is that I sometimes find myself planning a divorce so that I can plan another wedding here. But perhaps I'll settle for heading back here some day to celebrate an anniversary, or two.
