Lovely relaxing and all facilities are brilliant

An amazing stay in this beautiful traditional Spanish villa, we couldn't of ask for more
There were mountains on every side it was close to the little town of 0rgiva there were 2 supermarkets and small shops including bakers for pastries and breads and local honey.
The villa had a beautiful pool with a built sheltered area
The garden had a full size table tennis, small childrens climbing frame with palm trees, a variety of orange trees and olive trees.
A fully equipped kitchen with an outside kitchen and barbaque
There was nothing we needed here
It was a little paradise
It's a 30 minute drive to the beach that was a nice drive through the mountains

My husband and I wanted a holiday away from hustle and bustle, peace and quiet and private. We got exactly that. The Villa is a 12 minute drive from the main road up into the hills. The Villa is not overlooked and really quite private. It was so nice to be able to walk out on to the pool terrace and look at the wonderful view. The road up to the villa is a little bumpy and narrow in places but there are passing places and as long as you take it slow its fine. The villa itself can sleep 8, 6 in the main villa and 2 in a separate annex. The main villa I would say is perfect for 4 people. It could do with another sofa if more than 4 were staying there. The kitchen is small but functional although there is no oven in the kitchen or toaster. There is a 4 ring hob. The oven is in a separate outside kitchen along with the bbq and hot plate which is great for the summer but for out of season an inside oven would be good. We managed it though as we stayed in a few nights and cooked. You would also need to take quick showers as the hot water tank is not very big and again for more than 4 people, someone could get a cool shower, unless it is plugged in to the mains for a while. The hot water is heated via the solar panels so on a cloudy day you would need to plug it in. Getting to the villa worked out well. When we arrived, using google translate on my mobile I whatsapped the owner Carlos and he came to meet us at the meeting point, we then followed him to the villa and he showed us around and gave us the keys. It was easy to communicate with Carlos via google translate if you do not speak Spanish. Once at the villa I used 'What3Words' app to pin point our location to enable navigating back to the villa once we were out and about. There is wifi at the villa but not enough speed to be able to connect to the smart TV for Netflix etc. Carlos, the owner did try for us and provided a dongle for the internet but it wasn't strong enough. I believe he will be looking into improving this. My review could appear to some people as being negative but I hope that is more informative so you know what you are getting. My husband and I loved it, we had a wonderful stay and would certainly stay again.

Alquilamos una casa con vistas preciosas hacia Frigiliana, Nerja y el mar. Pasamos una semana muy relajante en esta casa en la zona de la Axarquía, el propietario, José Carlos muy atento y siempre disponible. La cama balinesa un lujo, realmente se utiliza. La zona del porche cubierto también es otro plus de esta casa.
La pagina es súper fácil, y tienen muchas casas chulas. La verdad es que cada vez que entro encuentro más opciones y muy diferentes. La posibilidad de hablar con una persona que te asesore, que te manden opciones y responda tus dudas se agradece muchísimo, y ademán son muy amables.
Siempre reservo con ellos y los recomiendo a todos mis amigos.

Environment:
We planned to spend our week in Andalusia ( 1st week in October 23 ) exploring the countryside.
However when we arrived at the villa the beauty and tranquility of the location captivated us enough to make us stay by the pool all day gazing at the ever changing view.

Tip* - The nearest supermarket is 20 minutes away in Alora - so it is best to stock up on your way if you do not wish to head out again after arriving.
Tip* - Remember shops and supermarkets are closed on Sundays. ( if you are really stuck you might be able to pick up a few things in a petrol station )The host had however a complimentary welcome pack of water , pastries , wine and crisps for us on arrival. This gesture is very welcoming (sadly missing in many other accommodation we have visited ).

Accommodation:The villa is beautiful - new , fresh. Comfortable beds. Lots of space inside and out. Kitchen modern and fully equipped. Modern walk in bathroom showers and fittings.Wifi was faultless and worked by the pool as well as indoors.The salt water pool was beautiful. Again fresh and clean. Big enough for a casual swim with fantastic views out over the valley and mountains.The poolside kitchen/bar was fully equipped for cooking outside. There was also a bathroom with shower so you didn't have to head back in to the house if you didn't want to.Summary:This Villa is a real gem. Having travelled for many years in Europe we can safely say this is the best Villa and location for total luxurious and relaxing vacation.
