Our server was condescending. He folded his arms while waiting for us to order, and eventually got our sauces order wrong. Even then, he did not apologise and made it look like he was putting in extra service to change our sauces. Furthermore, the food was meh, and could not redeem the service we received. Not sure why we got recommended this place by the reception to celebrate our anniversary.

Me and My wife had the pleasure of dining at porterhouse last night, and I must say the service was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and attended to. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive without being intrusive, and always had a smile on their face. The timing of our courses was perfect, and they even accommodated a special request with grace. It’s rare to find such impeccable service, and it truly enhanced our dining experience. Kudos to the entire team for their exceptional service!”

Celebrating our anniversary and craving a great steak, and as always, Porterhouse didn’t disappoint.
The chateaubriand was cooked to perfection and the service provided by Binoy, Guillaume, Marta and Wilbert was second to none. Well done to Chef Jefry and his culinary brigade! Thank you again and we look forward to coming back soon.

The ambiance at Porter House is undoubtedly one of its highlights. The restaurant boasts a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere, with well-designed interiors and a pleasant, cozy feel. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist, contributing to a positive initial impression.
Regrettably, the same cannot be said for the culinary aspect of the evening. The steak, a dish one would expect to be a highlight at any reputable restaurant, fell short of expectations. It was one of the poorest renditions I have encountered in Dubai. The meat was tough, lacking the desired tenderness and succulence that one looks for in a well-prepared steak. Additionally, the seasoning seemed inconsistent, leaving much to be desired in terms of flavor.
While the menu featured a variety of appealing options, the disappointment with the steak overshadowed the overall dining experience. The sides and appetizers showed promise, displaying a creative approach to culinary delights, but the lackluster main course left a lasting impression.
In conclusion, Porter House has the potential to be a great dining destination in Dubai, thanks to its charming ambiance and attentive service. However, the quality of the food, particularly the steak, needs significant improvement to match the overall experience one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I hope that the kitchen takes this feedback constructively and works towards elevating the culinary offerings to match the restaurant's otherwise commendable attributes.
