We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in the heart of Beaune. Of special note was the excellent service given by Sophie (and assistant Elliot) at the front desk and Hisham in the breakfast room. They warmly welcomed us and cared for our group beautifully. They served a lunch to remember!!!!|Highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed 5 nights and it was delightful! Excellent bar, incredible food - very fresh. I love the back patio. The rooms had amazing AC (it was 90 outside) - and I’m from Texas! All the staff were helpful and very friendly. Hicham gave excellent service and greeted with a big smile every morning.
The location was 5-7 minutes from everything. Walkable!!

Lovely stay. Staff is friendly, welcoming and provided great service and recommendations. We had an apartment which was spacious, clean and nice to come home to each evening. Great location, close to walk around and enjoy town, or to the bike rental shop. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again another time!

Beautiful hotel in great location. We had lovely deluxe double room overlooking the garden terrace. Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Breakfast could be improved by having a greater choice of freshly cooked items and fresh fruit. Good choice of cereal and yoghurts. The bar was frequently unmanned but reception would arrange for someone to come which could take 5 to 10 minutes. Overall would thoroughly recommend. The staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.

Stayed for 3 nights visiting the town and region. Full of character in a conversion of the town’s old post office, great central location with a small public parking area out front or paid for private parking 8 euros/day out back. Rooms were large and quite quirky being a conversion but very comfortable, functional and clean with air con. Staff were delightful - very helpful and friendly. Had a lovely evening in the bar watching a visiting jazz band. Would definitely stay again!

Prima locatie, zeer klantvriendelijk, op 5 min lopen van centrum, met een heerlijk ontbijt op terras op de binnenplaats.|Beaune was voor ons een tussenstop naar Zuid-Frankrijk maar heeft alle verwachtingen overtroffen.|Je kunt er voortreffelijk eten en het Hospice is echt een aanrader.

Hotel is in a great location in Beaune. The room we had was very nice and seemed newly renovated. Great customer service too. I definitely recommend this hotel. I will say that we booked the hotel with miles, so I don’t know how much value I am getting for the price.

Nice Location, outside is wonderful! Nice bar area and pool table. The rooms are Very small and bathroom was smaller than a cruise ship!! The breakfast and the service were nothing but painful!

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Beaune

Our experience at La Poste Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is unbeatable—right across from the old city—making it easy to walk to all the historical sites, shops, and restaurants.

What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible service from the concierge, Sophie. She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and treated us like dear friends, not just guests. Even after we checked out, she continued to follow up, helped us secure the best tickets, and offered thoughtful suggestions that made us feel like locals. Her patience, warmth, and expertise were unmatched. Sophie is truly the gold standard of what a concierge should be—congratulations to the hotel for having such a gem on staff.

Our room was spacious, cozy, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the overall design felt clean and welcoming. One small note: my room didn’t have much natural light, which might be something to consider if, like me, you prefer brighter spaces. If that’s important to you, I’d recommend requesting a room with larger windows.

All in all, a fantastic stay—and we would absolutely return!

Fantastisk hotell i umiddelbar gangavstand til sentrum av Beaune. Vi hadde suite og rommene var romslige og rene. I tillegg vil jeg gi en oppmerksomhet til resepsjonisten som gav utmerket service og hjalp oss med både restaurant booking og booking av sykkel i løpet av vårt opphold. Anbefales på det varmeste.

Very nice hotel with a cool bar and helpful staff. We had only one night in Beaune, a truly wonderful small city, and enjoyed our stay at the Hotel De La Poste very much. Great location just an easy stroll into the very heart of town. Everything was immaculately clean and pleasant. It's a cute place with a sharp and very comfortable bar. Would stay there again. Many good options to dine in town, though the breakfast at the hotel was good and a good value.

This is a cute hotel in the city of Beaune France. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was cute. Couldn't figure out the AC but other than that a perfect getaway.

Accueil pas top, et tres surpris par la politique du petit dejeuner, ou l'on doit choisir combien de croissants on va manger, sans avoir aucune idée de ce que contient le buffet. Pour un petit dejeuner a 20 euros, c'est un peu abusé de faire de telles economies...

Perfectly located just outside inner Beaune. We had Suite which made a difference given large size. Check in was standard. Service provided by Sophie for restaurant recommendations was excellent. Great parking. Breakfast was adequate, with a good selection of cheese, fruit, yoghurt and hot food. Highly recommend

This hotel is perfectly located for visiting the center of the city of Beaune. It does also offer a closed garage for safely parking your car. This is especially useful if you have purchased some local wine for in wine cellar at home.

Certes l’hôtel est confortable et la chambre est spacieuse |La salle de bains est très grande mais tres mal chauffée par un porte serviette électrique qui ne chauffe qu’à 20 degrés |De plus la VMC est extrêmement bruyante ! Heureusement en fermant la porte de séparation avec la chambre on ne l’entend presque plus |Mais pour avoir 4 étoiles et en payer le prix il est inadmissible qu’il n’y ait pas un minibar dans la chambre |Le petit déjeuner est très cher et vous n’avez droit qu’à deux viennoiseries outre le pain et les charcuteries / fromages pour les nordistes |Une escale que je ne recommande pas !

Stayed here to break the journey south. Wonderfull old hotel 5 minutes walk from city centre.|Room was small but comfortable - and the service at reception and the bar was really good - did not eat here as we had a reservation else where, and at 20 euros a head for breakfast I thought a tad steep - secure parking reserved at only 10 Euros.|Would defiantly recommend and will stay here again

Cadre très sympa avec cette ascenseur du siècle passé.||Un bar très agréable avec pas mal de choix.||Une chambre cosy...attention l'eau de la douche est juste tiède !! et un peu bruyante s'il y a un "éléphant" à l'étage.||Le restaurant à éviter sauf si vous n'avez vraiment pas envie de sortir (le centre est pas loin). Mais au final pas mauvais ...juste le cadre fait plus hall de gare.

This was the second time we stayed there and were excited to stay there once more. However, the hotel underwent some renovations/remodeling since our previous visit and unfortunately, I can’t say that we were happy with the direction the hotel took. ||The overall decor took a more contemporary design but it feels like it lost some identify in the process. Breakfast on white table cloth tables were replaced with more cafeteria style tables and chairs. While the breakfast was still enjoyable, the eating area resembled more the seating area of the Lidl behind it. The new contemporary monoplanar monochromatic glass reception desk is retrofitted into a space that battles with the vintage and elaborate wood and iron detail throughout the lobby. ||We stayed in the new wing with renovated rooms, but this also felt that it had succumbed to budget cuts. The bathrooms were great, spacious, warm, and with plenty of hot and cold running water at great water pressure. The rooms themselves, however, lacked soul. There’s a difference between minimalism and just feeling empty. They were comfortable, clean, and functional, but lacked some of the charm and ambience that the toil-filled, elaborate designed rooms possess. ||I am all for updating and evolving a space according to needs, but it feels like some of the soul of the hotel was lost in the process
