Wafi Gourmet tiene una terraza muy bonita situada en el Rez du Mall, frente a las fuentes. Una buena dirección también para los gourmets, y todos estamos frente a estas vituallas levantinas. Es la ocasión de probar el mezze o de pedir un shawarma. Es difícil apartar la vista de las pirámides de pasteles y cestas llenas de dulces orientales que ocupan una gran parte de esta delicatessen. Degustaciones en el lugar o para llevar, gran variedad de dátiles, frutas secas, mieles. El mejor humus de la ciudad.

I’ve been working in Dubai mall for 11 years already and was always eating kebab sandwich from this restaurant, but today I had a humiliating experience which made me write this comment about my bad experience. As a staff in a certain brand of the mall I went with my colleague on our lunch break for a sandwich, we went on the terrace to eat and to order two coffee (which btw is not so cheap either) we have been kicked out by the supervisor saying that since we got the sandwiches from inside we as a staff are not allowed to seat at the table and enjoy additional drinks. This kind of poor customer service I did not expect from Wafi Gourmet side, yes we all are staff in that mall but we also are human beings and clients , regular clients of this restaurant so my question is what’s wrong with the management of this restaurant why the staff is treated so bad when we are paying for the food and drinks, no one is giving us anything for free. Disappointed!

Chicken Shawarma very mediocre, French fries were the frozen McDonalds ones, kebbe, the mixed grilled and the pita bread was nice though

Overall this is an iconic restaurant in Dubai. Offering great view and tasty food. One thing that was surprising for me was that waiters were more professional and caring than managers. I requested a table outdoors from the manager and was ready to order as I knew what I wanted. Kindly requested to be back in 2 minutes as I had to go to the bathroom. The manager standing there told me it's not possible as he doesn't know where is my table. I suggested to appoint any table and upon my return I would sit at that table. The whole idea was to have my food order punched while I was out. Even if it's something not possible there is a polite and professional way of explaining it to the customer. Definitely not in a blunt and dry manner.

Having said this I would definitely give credits to the floor staff as there were super friendly and attentive.

Baklavas and sweets are really amazing and appealing
