Nette kleine versteckte Abbey, mit einem sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Besitzer der alles in Eigenregie aufbaut. Es lohnt sich anzuhalten und hinein zu gehen

Wir waren davon ausgegangen, dass welcher, die Restaurierung des alten Gemäuers so schön im Web präsentiert, auch Interesse daran hat, dass man das Kloster besucht. Weit gefehlt. Sehr unsanft, aber bestimmt wurden wir des Geländes verwiesen. Ein "Sorry, heute geschlossen," hätte voll genügt. Ich hatte den Eindruck, hier will jemand auf keinen Fall Öffentlichkeit. Warum? Schade, aber dann nicht im Web verbreiten.

Voglio dare il massimo delle stelle a questa struttura storica per due motivi. Una per la sua storia importante che quasi andava perduta, per i vari passaggi di mano che l'avevano portato alla sua quasi distruzione. Secondo per la pazienza, la costanza ed il coraggio della famiglia che l'ha riportata in vita, acquistandola e apportando restauri importanti, con progetti e finanziamenti propri e statali, non ancora portati a termine ma che proseguono costantemente. Un lavoro ed un coraggio che non tutti avrebbero assunto. Visitate, visitate, visitate. Il nostro piccolo contributo economico è importante. La stotia ci appartiene contribuiamo a farla rivivere e conoscerla.

Superbe découverte. Les explications sont claires et simples et le lieu est tellement calme et plein de plénitude. Encore mieux sous le soleil.
Pas de CB pour payer l'entrée. Grand parking en face de l'abbaye.

A beautifull site, wel maintained. Also the garden is nice to walk around. The ruins needs restauration but that is a work in progress.

Very interesting place, privately owned, to visit if you like small museums like this! 8€ entrance, well worth it!
I went there during the 80th anniversary of D-day and it was a real delight to be able to see this beautiful place! There was at this time an exposition going on of a Belgian collector of US WW2 medical supplies, he had a whole hospital post set up in one of the old buildings on the property.
The owners were there to answer any questions and the whole restauration project seems very impressive. They are very passionate about it.
Some more archeological research is still being done.

Un très bel endroit chargé d'histoire dans un superbe environnement, à 2 pas de Bayeux et donc tout près des plages du débarquement. On y est très bien accueuilli. La restauration du choeur de l'abbaye a permis de reconstruire le toit pour le moment et cela continue. Le réfectoire du XII et XVI est en train de dévoiler ses secrets au fur et à mesure de sa restauration intérieure et notamment la toiture.
Bref, A VISITER ABSOLUMENT.

Nous avons visité l'abbaye ce jour et mené une petite enquête en famille. Ardue mais fort intéressante.
Un très bel endroit, des jardins très jolis.
L'accueil était très chaleureux, avec un accompagnement à saluer. La personne était à notre écoute avec un réel échange lors de nos questionnements d'enquêteurs en herbe.
Les travaux en cours démontrent l'ampleur de la tâche de restauration mais surtout la véritable envie de sauvegarder ce magnifique patrimoine.
Les éléments conservés sont bien mis en valeur.
Bon courage aux propriétaires dans cette aventure.
