Un sitio sorprendente, en torno al cual ha surgido una gran controversia. Gary Sterne, el propietario inglés del terreno, afirmó en 2006 haber descubierto "una de las baterías alemanas, si no la más importante de Normandía". Los historiadores se levantaron para denunciar un "pseudodescubrimiento sensacional". En cualquier caso, esta batería alemana, que parece haber quedado en el olvido durante casi 60 años, formaba parte del Muro Atlántico.

Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Hier werden auch nicht Massen von Touristen in Bussen hingefahren.
This time round, I decided to visit anyway and decide for myself. I can quite confidently say that this place is a must visit and should definitely be on the top of your list when visiting Normandy for WWII sites.
The premises was uncovered by British Historian Gary Sterne (Google It) - and it shows what the defence location would have been like during D-Day. A map was handed out to us in English that explained on the finds and routes too!
Hopefully they have a museum built so that the findings can be displayed in a nicer format (rather than the hut) - but I understand there are some political barriers in the way at this stage.
A must visit.
