Absolute gem of a museum, came back after 20 years! This guy is brilliant, a credit to the memory of D-Day, dedicated to honouring the bravest men in modern history. Fantastic artifacts and he was willing to tell all about them, blown away with the discovery of the side of a wooden landing craft and the ramp......incredible! Me and my lad loved this place, check it out if you are in Normandy and the D-Day beaches.

I still think fondly about our visit here on May 14, 2014. We had the pleasure of stopping at the “Big Red One Assault Museum” on our way to L'Arromanches, and I must say, it is an unsung gem of a place. The museum is filled with rich history and poignant exhibits that pay tribute to the bravery of the soldiers who fought during the D-Day invasion. The owner, Pierre is incredibly knowledgeable and shared inspiring stories, including a few words in memory of my father, Danny, who landed there. This personal touch made the visit even more meaningful. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by to experience this hidden treasure and honor the legacy of those who served and liberated Europe on June 6, 1944.

Pequeño museo con todos sus objetos originales,algunos con la descripción de su historia,tiene algunas cosas que puedes comprar.Nos gustó mucho, volveremos en el próximo viaje a Normandia.

Génial, incontournable, des explications données par son guide et propriétaire; Pierre-Louis Gosselin pour chaque pièce d'exposition, chacune exceptionnelle et ayant son histoire.
Une présentation de qualité qui régale les yeux, on se plonge vraiment, le temps d'une visite, dans l'histoire du Débarquement de Normandie à Omaha Beach.
Merci encore à lui, expérience à renouveler !

Une superbe collection est exposée dans ce musée. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et passionnés.
La visite guidée sur la plage est très intéressante.

Musée de qualité, petit et ne paye pas de mine mais un réel passionné vie dans ces murs, des pièces incroyable et quand la visite est guidée c’est juste incroyable.
Nous avons aussi fait la visite d’Omaha avec Pierre et franchement c’est incroyable, aux premiers abords on se dit que c’est un peu chère mais on prend 2h d’histoire incroyable qui ce sont produite sur ces plages, un grand merci pour cette expérience et au plaisir de vous revoir bientôt !

La gentillesse de Pierre et Dominique est géniale !

We visited this museum approx 20 years ago and it was fascinating then so love to see it now. Chatted with the then young man who told us it all started with items he found on the beach as a child , fabulous stories to be heard. Recommend.

A very interesting Museum. Not too big but with original items. Didn't know that the bottom of the Ship, soldiers went to the beach, was of wood! Crazy! The owner is a very nice Person, who told me a lot of details! He is a real enthusiastic who search items of the invasion on the beach himself!

Musée tenu par un vrai passionné qui y dédie sa vie.

Le musée est truffé de pièces vraiment uniques, de vrais morceaux d'histoire dont le propriétaire connaît chaque détails qu'il partage avec joie.

À voir absolument.
