We had 3 nice days at the hotel. The staff were very nice with us, and the hotel i perfekt.

What an amazing stay option in Lisboa. Amazing value, unparalleled location right next to Time Out Market and Cais de Sodre station with service to Cascais.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are premium feeling in a minimalist way, true to the Japanese design inspiration.
Breakfast is very well thought out, and dinner menus were eclectic and unique in the area.
If you're traveling in groups of 2 or 3, the value is unbeatable - loved the views from room 107!
Will definitely stay here again!

Hemos estado 3 días y todo estupendo. Estuvimos en una triple, un poco pequeña pero muy limpio y ordenado.
El desayuno muy bueno, con opción a pedir cosas recién hechas.
El personal muy atento y servicial. Te explican cualquier duda con mucha amabilidad y atención estupenda (comentar lo jóvenes que son todos ????)

Independente Bica will respond efficiently to all of your needs. We especially enjoyed the breakfast meals during the week and the buffet on the weekend. We could have arisen even earlier for the 8 am breakfast so that we could get out and about exploring Lisbon. We wish you the best of luck with your hotel!

Rating on Google seems very hyped up to me. The hotel is decent, but nothing more. Not very comfortable bed, the room was too warm and not very charming. An ok place to stay, but not living up to the high rating.

Bagno: doccia grande con bagno schiuma/shampoo/balsamo...acqua calda velocemente disponibile. Box doccia assolutamente ermetico, nessuna perdita o bagnume per terra! Super!
Lavandino un po' piccino, ma si sposa perfettamente con ambiente! Fornito di sapone mani + crema mani/corpo, super! Non c'è il bidet, ma il doccino, ma da come ho potuto vedere, non è usanza in Portogallo così come nel resto d'Europa...ambiente caldo il giusto, aspirazione bagno silenziosa, davvero efficace....vista gradevole proprio difronte all'Ascensor da
Bica...insonorizzazione top della porta finestra sulla strada! Si dorme perfettamente….sia vicini di camera che signore delle pulizie davvero molto rispettosi, grazie! Pulizia eccellente, tutti i giorni se non vuoi metti fuori cartellino. Colazione ottima, puoi scegliere Continentale: frutta fresca/bevanda calda/yogurt con granola/pane toast/burro e marmellata/succo
arancia( tutto incluso!)...Giapponese mai provata, ma interessante novità!

Posizione ????: a 5 minuti da TimeOut Market dove puoi trovare da bere e mangiare a volontà, particolare…. 5 minuti da metro per/da aeroporto( Cais di Sodré) 10 minuti a piedi da BairroAlto/Praça do commercio/porto per varie gite in barca/Rossio stazione per Sintra...la posizione azzeccata, non hai bisogno di mezzi, noi abbiamo girato sempre a piedi…...ci sono molti localini carini, pink street per movida giovanile più sfrenata a 5 minuti....la posizione è perfetta per essere vicini al centro, ai locali, ma altrettanto decentrata da riposare tranquillamente! Personale giovane e gentilissimo, tutti molto carini e disponibili, sorridenti e pronti a dare consigli utili su cosa/come/dove andare…..chiedete chiedete, vi aiuteranno sicuramente! Unica cosa e la menziono per ultima perché si può passare oltre, toglierei la moquette almeno nelle camere, sarebbe assolutamente ???? perfetto.
Hotel assolutamente consigliato!!!

The staff, food and location was great. The room was very nice but a bit special, for a guy my age, having to ”climb” in to bed.

Très bon hôtel, personnel très accueillant et disponible. Petit déjeuner international où japonais compris dans le prix. Hôtel bien situé proche du centre ville de lisbonne. Chambre confortable et originale sur le thème du Japon. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Une grande et confortable chambre pour 5, un service de restauration excellent et un personnel adorable! Très belle expérience en famille .

I stayed at the Independente Bica for a few days for a business trip. It was a great place to stay! It is easy to get to, close to public transportation, and right in the middle of a neighborhood with many restaurants. The continental breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious. There is someone at the front desk 24/7 and the staff is very helpful.

A couple things you might want to know before you book:
-The rooms and bathrooms are very compact, so if you need a lot of space, this might not be the right place for you.
-There is a reasonable amount of nightlife in the area, so it's a bit noisy at night from people talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves on the street outside. If you need silence to sleep well, you might want to go elsewhere.

La experiencia en este hotel ha sido increíble. Hemos estado solamente una noche y no podemos estar más contentas.

Nos recibieron de forma muy agradable y nos dieron una habitación excelente, con camas grandes y muy cómodas. El personal ha sido amable en todo momento y nos ha facilitado mucho la estancia. Además, el precio incluía el desayuno, que ha sido muy completo, además riquísimo y bien presentado.

Estamos profundamente agradecidas de habernos hospedado en este hotel de Lisboa, y lo recomendamos mucho para los que quieren venir aquí a visitar. Además, se encuentra en una zona céntrica y hay la recepción abierta las 24 horas.

No podría estar más contenta con el hotel y sus empleados, que han sido muy agradables des de el primer momento. La habitación para 4 personas era muy grande, con dos camas de matrimonio, dos individuales y dos baños con ducha. El desayuno también nos ha gustado mucho, muy bueno y completo. ¡Volveremos seguro!

Tuvimos un problema con la reserva del apartamento que realizamos incialmente para venir a Lisboa, y desde el primer momento nos ayudaron. Llegamos al hotel y el personal de recepción nos informó que tenían una habitación para esa misma noche para cuatro. La habitación era inmejorable: dos baños completos, cuatro camas (dos dobles y dos individuales), dos pequeños sofas y estaba equipada con caja fuerte, zapatillas, toallas y secador. También incluía una bebida de bienvenida y aire acondicionado. Además, en el precio se nos incluía un desayuno completísimo del cual salimos muy contentas. Estamos muy agradecidas por el trato recibido, todo el personal es encantador y nos hizo disfrutar mucho de la experiencia. ¡Volveremos seguro!

Location is great. Service is great. I was a bit underwhelmed by the room which looked better on photo, it is on the cheap side. The japanese breakfast was a highlight. Super good. Overall great price/quality ratio..

Very good location (not up a massive hill which is rare in Lisbon) and easy to get to from the airport. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. We had breakfast included and this was delicious. Could not recommend higher at its very reasonable prices!

I stayed here with 2 other friends for a week and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was very nice and friendly. They provided snacks and welcome drinks and we felt very taken care of during our stay here. The room was a little small for three people but overall it was clean. The location is convenient as well, we were only a few minutes walk from many places on our list. Funny enough, on our last night, my friends and I went inside a public bathroom at 2am and we got stuck in there for an hour. We tried to call the police for help but they hung up on us so we called the hotel. They helped us by calling the police themselves. If I could give 6 stars I could lol :)
