Dear L’Eautel Toulon Port Team,
I would like to bring to your attention an unfortunate incident that occurred during our recent stay.
A Castres Olympique player kindly left a quarter-final ticket for us at reception, addressed with our family name and room number. When we arrived to collect it, the receptionist was unable to locate the envelope. After an anxious search he finally discovered it—discarded in the waste-bin behind the desk.
We were shocked that a clearly labelled, time-sensitive envelope had been thrown away. The player who left the ticket was equally surprised and disappointed when we informed him.
This experience left us feeling that our belongings—and the goodwill of the player—were not treated with the care and respect one would expect from a hotel of your reputation. I hope you will review your procedures for handling guest items to ensure similar situations do not occur in future.
