My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversy. Overall the experience was outstanding, from the moment we arrived until we left we had an amazing time. The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are well decorated and comfortable, the dinner at l’Orangerie was incredible and the breakfast was well prepared. What really made our stay special was the staff. I had made a note in our reservation about our wedding anniversary and the staff went out of their way to make our celebration a memorable one. We plan to return in the future.

« Le temps suspendu » est un Très bon restaurant, avec un jardin magnifique et très joli endroit. Nous étions en famille pour le déjeuner et c’était vraiment excellent. Merci à Audrey et Marie, très sympathiques, professionnelles et efficaces. Nous reviendrons….

Gorgeous property with an attentive and friendly staff. The rooms and grounds are excellently maintained, the food is delicious and high quality and I often felt as if I was the only person there because it’s so quiet. I enjoyed both restaurants, including the 7-course menu at La Table de l-Orangerie (jut know it takes 2.5 hours). The food is high quality and delicious and precautions were made for my dietary restrictions. I enjoyed an Ayurvedic massage and walking the wooded trails each day. Overall a wonderful place to escape to for 5 nights alone.

A world class facility. The staff are outstanding. Grounds are meticulously kept and rooms are luxurious. Will definitely stay there again.

There are countless other incredible properties to stay at throughout this region. I couldn't recommend this less, specifically because of the staff. Our room was left unlocked over and over again, we were given no property tour of any amenities (if there even were any), the wine tasting was bizarre, and the staff was rude and unhelpful.

Dinner wasn’t great and the breakfast was so basic I taught I was in a Francise hotel.
All the staff are not on the same page and we kept telling us different stories.
We checked in late but the receptionist said we had time to make it for dinner. Another member said we cannot. We did make it in time and then had to wait over an hour. There was about 5 other tables, who already had food.
Same with breakfast. Asked about eggs and they are supplemented (extra for fried)
Another told us we can order and they’ll cook.
Like how do you get this basic stuff wrong. 50% of the time. Bad training. I good management accountable.
Grounds are beautiful and place itself is amazing.
Also a suggestion is to have a fridge for the room. You have these in standard hotels but not in a chateaux that’s 1k a night that’s absurd. Most people enjoy cold drinks.

Beautiful Chateau in Provence. Outstanding venue and service for our daughters 3day wedding celebrations in early May 2025.||Great coordination between hotel and wedding planner. Exquisite wedding dinner catered by the Michelin 1 star, La Table de l'Orangerie - Restaurant Gastronomique for 125 people.

Un endroit magnifique ! Le site à proximité d'Aix-en-Provence est magnifique, au sein d'un très beau parc. Les chambres sont très confortables et bien équipées. Le service est souriant et attentionné. Très bons petit-déjeuner et dîner en terrasse.

Une expérience tout simplement magique ! Le lieu est sublissime et comme si c’était possible, le personnel le magnifie encore grâce à sa gentillesse et son accueil ! Un lieu 100% kids friendly avec pleins de sourires, de petites attentions et une salle de jeux digne d’un film Disney !

Une annulation de la part du château pour le déjeuner de la fête des pères 5 jours avant la date malgré une réservation datant de plusieurs semaines. Bref vraiment déçu de façon de procéder. Les erreurs peuvent arrivées mais un simple appel pour prévenir de l’annulation de notre réservation sans proposer de solution, ni offre, ni report sur le restaurant et nous laisser à notre sort à j-5 ce n’est pas très professionnel de ce s’apercevoir du problème aussi tardivement .

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable au Château de Fonscolombe. Le cadre est tout simplement incroyable : entre nature, histoire et élégance, tout est réuni pour une parenthèse enchantée. La chambre était très confortable, décorée avec goût, et parfaitement équipée – un vrai cocon mêlant luxe et intimité.

Voyageant avec un bébé, nous avons été particulièrement touchés par l’attention portée à notre confort : tout avait été prévu pour faciliter notre séjour, et l’accueil a été exceptionnel, à la fois chaleureux, attentionné et professionnel. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour cette belle expérience !

I had the amazing chance and opportunity to stay there a few days a few weeks ago and it was absolutely charming
I spent one of the most wonderful weekend of my life
All the employees were really careful, looking for any detail, making sure that me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay. The location is absolutely insane, and the food is delicious. Can’t wait to come back for another stay !!!

Wow, what a property! It was quite fun & different to stay in an actual 17th century French Chateau. Its the kind of place that normally you might expect to visit & tour. Full of character with lovely large grounds and nice views. The staff were very polite, friendly & efficient. Room & building very clean. Restaurant was excellent ( though perhaps a little pricey, but this of course isn't a hotel you book if you are trying to save money) Bikes to ride, pony's to visit, swimming pool, billiards table, fitness room & nearby to various other nice places to visit for day trips. If you want to splurge a bit on a more unique stay, well worth considering.

Une escapade hors du temps dans un lieu chargé d'histoire avec un personnel au petits soins. Une parenthèse enchantée à l'époque de Louis XIV mais avec tout le confort de XXIe siècle.

Le château de Fonscolombe. Une histoire de 3 siècles. Magnifique dans cette belle nature.
Chambre très confortable, dans un décor ancien. Très bonne literie pour se reposer dans cet endroit très calme. Tout est propre. Rien à dire. Personnel très agréable et à votre service, ce qui est très apprécié.
Demande à être connu.
