Excelente cocina para disfrutar en un restaurante con terraza en Cassis.

Excelente restaurante situado en una calle peatonal del centro de Cassis donde podrá disfrutar de una refinada cocina mediterránea. La carta, relativamente limitada, ofrece platos de pescado y carne de calidad, así como risottos y pasta. Mención especial merecen los linguini con almejas y gambas, de muy buena calidad. Los platos son copiosos y muy bien presentados. El servicio es admirable: las camareras y el chef le darán una cálida bienvenida para que descubra su exitoso establecimiento.

I am not usually one to leave bad reviews, but my friend and I had a terrible experience. We both had clam pasta, and it was served to us completely dry with no sauce. The waitress spoke to the chef, and it turned out he hadn’t added the sauce because he was worried there was sand in it… strange! Anyway, we gave them the opportunity to rectify and the pasta reappeared a few minutes later with the sauce added. Unfortunately it was watery and completely tasteless. We informed the waitress we were going to go elsewhere and that we didn’t want to pay, and she immediately got very defensive and threatened to call the police! Totally unnecessary. We then got into an argument with her, and she started taking photos of us on her phone, saying she was going to call the police right now… we couldn’t believe what was happening and agreed to pay and leave. We had barely touched the food and the bill came to over 60 euros for 2 plates of inedible clam pasta, 1 white wine, and 1 lemonade. We were utterly shocked about the whole experience and were disgusted with how we were treated.

Last to receive our meal when ordered before almost everyone else in the restaurant.. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes from when we ordered our food to receive our entree.
Food was excellent, Again the delay was terrible.

Bonne adresse avec de bons produits et très bien présentés.
Très bon rapport qualité prix et serveuse très sympathique.
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés????????

Probablement le meilleur restaurant qu’on ait pu faire de la ville ; les plats sont divins en plus d’être très bien présentés, le vin est goûteux, le personnel très sympathique, le chef compris puisque nous avons eu le plaisir de le rencontrer. Notre dîner s’est clôturé par un rhum arrangé maison qui fût un plaisir à déguster. C’est une adresse que je recommande vivement !
