El antiguo convento de los Grandes Agustinos ( siglo XII) acogió a Martín Lutero, padre del protestantismo, tras ser excomulgado por el Papa. En 1892, una parte de la iglesia del convento se convirtió en hospedería, y la entrada del edificio, con sus ventanas ojivales y vidrieras, sigue en pie hoy en día. Sus 28 habitaciones climatizadas están decoradas según diferentes temas, artísticos, japoneses o clásicos, y dos de ellas disponen de terraza propia. No olvide reservar con antelación, ya que su excepcional ubicación se suma a su comodidad.

역사적 건물이라는 설명만 읽고 급하게 예약했는데, 도착해보니 중세 수도원 분위기의 고풍스러움과 따뜻함이 인상적이었어요.
밤늦게 프런트데스크에서 맞이해주신 스태프 분, 아침에 웨이크업 콜을 해주신 Madmoiselle Aliénor가 한국어가 유창하다는 사실을 알고 얼마나 반가웠던지요. 저희가 오귀스탱에 처음 묵은 한국인이라며 아주 반가워해주셨어요. 주변에 둘러볼 곳들을 여기저기 소개해주셔서 감사했어요! 아직도 K-POP을 좋아하고 계신지 궁금하네요 :) 호텔은 쇼핑관광구역 메인에 위치해서 접근성이 아주 좋아요. 대신 주차장은 조금 거리가 있으니 참고하시면 좋을 것 같아요.

Areas for improvement are: Rooms. They are very dated with mattresses that are too soft & low to be comfortable, bath tubs lacked shower curtains, which means water ends up everywhere! We had a room that we actually had to climb stairs to get to the tub and sink area and the comode was at the bottom of those same stairs. To get to our room we had to go up two smaller flights of stairs after using the elevator. Totally unbelievable! Additionally not all the wall sockets in our room worked!
Breakfast, for what was offered, is too expensive and lacked basics such as more croissants, sweets pastries, a larger variety of items, such a sweetened yogurts, maybe some fresh cut cold vegetables etc. Breakfast was from 7 to 10 and we went down at 9 and there was hardly anything left! The coffee however, was excellent. Aix-en-Provence is such a beautiful town that should not be missed, if in the area! This hotel for one night is very very basic. I would not recommend it for anything longer as it has too many variables that need to be improved or corrected.

We also thank you for taking your time to suggest improvements. Currently, we are on the way on renovating the rooms and most importantly the mattresses, as we are replacing them slowly but surely. We're also looking into the shower curtains to see what can be done about that.
Unfortunately, there is only so much we can do about remodelling the rooms themselves.
As for the breakfast, we take notes of your suggestions regarding the pastries, yogurts and cold vegetables.
Despite all of that, we really hope to see you again and this time, in much better conditions. We're taking that chance to remind you to not hesitate to leave us an email or add a comment in your reservation for any demand.
