The tours are given in French, but you do get a study sheet in your language to help you along. The associated museum has text in English, so if you're not a French speaker, I suggest getting there AT LEAST 60 minutes early to go through the museum and eyeball the cheatsheet before going into the caves. Don't show up 10 minutes before the tour and expect to know what's going on.
This was very family friendly, but there is a brief hike up to get to the upper cave, and steps inside to get from the upper cave to the lower cave, so it's not very accessible to those in wheelchairs or with unsteady footing.
