Este encantador hotel ocupa un castillo construido en 1738 y situado en un parque de 3 hectáreas. El hotel se distribuye en dos plantas alrededor de una escalera de hierro forjado. Las habitaciones se abren a la vegetación y están decoradas con telas estampadas, algunas con preciosos suelos de parqué y otras con moqueta ultra-húmeda. Los cuartos de baño han sido diseñados por Hydropolis, el orfebre de Aviñón. Para desayunar, con fruta suministrada por los agricultores locales, puede elegir entre un bonito salón o una terraza llena de flores.

When we were planning our trip in the South of France, my husband said that he wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast in a historic home. We did some research and found Chateau de Varenne. It looked wonderful and then managed to exceed our wildest expectations. The historic building is in immaculate condition and is beautifully furnished. The pool and grounds were stunning. The large French breakfasts were the best we had on our entire vacation. The laundry service was much appreciated as we were running out of clothes near the end of our trip. Emma and her family who run the place are extremely helpful, attentive, and kind. Emma assisted us with dinner and tourism recommendations. The Chateau feels like you are in the middle of nowhere with its peaceful beauty, but in reality you are steps away from great restaurants and a short drive away from the city of Avignon. I recommend Chateau de Varenne most highly.

Nach elf Jahren Pause der dritte Besuch im Château de Varenne und es war auch dieses Mal einfach magisch, ein Kraftort, der die Seele streichelt und einfach ganz besonders ist. Dieses Mal leider nur eine Nacht auf der Durchfahrt, wir waren aber auch schon eine ganze Woche hier und haben tolle Ausflüge in der sagenhaften Umgebung gemacht. Unaufdringlicher Service, alle sind sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sind ganz wunderbar. Wir kommen wieder.

Lovely Chateau experience! The owners and their staff were the nicest that we encountered on our trip! The room that we stayed in was very comfortable, but only had a tub (not a shower). Still, We enjoyed the experience! We also enjoyed visiting with the other guests, and the nice breakfast options. The grounds and the pool were very nice. We were visiting the Chateauneuf du Pape and Avignon area and this was the perfect place to stay. Plenty of parking, also, there is only one restaurant in the little tiny town, but there are plenty of other recommendations within a 10 to 15 minute drive.
