There’s not too much to actually do in Carcassonne so this passes an hour with a nice boat tour up and then back down the canal midi. French, English and Spanish commentary but actually the French one contains far more details. Going back and forth through the lock might be fun for kids but for adults is a little tedious. The cost at €8 per person is fairly reasonable. Boat was spacious enough as only 25 were on the trip. Staff are friendly. They run the boat trips at 2pm and 3.30pm in opposite directions and they vary from 75 minutes to 120 minutes. I think they run other times as well.

Très déçu de cette balade au fil de l'eau. C'est bien commenté, bien expliqué et hop le bateau s'arrête pour nous montre la cite de loin mais on se serait arrêté en voiture c'était pareil. Le moment sympa l'écluse et son explication et après c'est tout. Bref 8€ ça ne vaut pas plus.

Enjoyed the one hour ride with English commentary along with French and Spanish. The best part is going through the lock, so I’d say this is a must-do when in Carcassonne.

Équipe sympathique, belle détente, peu de choses à voir. L'expérience de l'écluse était intéressante.

El cap de setmana passat vam anar a Carcassonne i vam agafar el creuer d'una hora i quart amb Le Cocagne. Vam veure el funcionament d'una encusa i ens va resultar molt interessant. El viatge és molt bonic, l'entorn molt verd i la veritat és que es fa curt. El personal del vaixell també un 10, va ser super amable amb nosaltres, ens van dir des d'on podiem fer les millors fotos del castell (tot i que es veu bastant lluny). Des del meu punt de vista molt recomanable.

It's a nice relaxing boat trip, down to a canal lock and back again which was interesting if you've never done it before. The view of the castle is much farther away than I thought it would be but still a nice way to spend an 1hr 15min.

hicimos la ruta de 2 horas en dirección a Touluse. Es muy escénica con mucha naturaleza. Es bonita y no se hace pesada para adultos....para peques...se impacientan un poco. Lo recomiendo para conocer el funcionamiento de esclusas y otros aspectos de esta importante infraestructura.

We payed for the shorter trip, 80mins approx, great way to spend a relaxing afternoon and travel through a lock. Take your own drinks/snacks for the trip as nothing available on board.

The 1 hour and a quarter trip is a great intro to the canal du midi and going up and down in a lock is fun. Don't expect much of a view of the cité or you will be very disappointed.

Très belle journée sur le Cocagne avec les grands parents et notre chien. Très bon accueil, beaucoup d'humour et de bienveillance de la part du capitaine et de Sacha. Commentaires très intéressants et à juste propos, une balade très agréable pour découvrir le Canal du Midi.

Nice boat trip along the canal de midi, obviously at canal level there's not much to see apart from canal and countryside, but worth it for a relaxing few hours nevertheless ????

j ai adore faire la visite de l'extérieur av le petit train,a l aide des oreillettes les explications permettent de mieux comprendre l histoire ,les 2 monsieurs ,le chauffeur et son collègue très sympathique en plus

Nous avons choisi la promenade d'1h15 pour notre première.
Accueil chaleureux et souriant de Laurent et Sacha. Jolie découverte, les commentaires sont pertinents et justement dosés. Les placements du bateau permettent differents point de vue, notamment au passage de l'ecluse.
Un agréable moment suspendu ????

Es un cachondeo. No se sabe cuando empiezan a vender los tiquets. Ni si hay que reservar. No informan de nada. No hay nadie. Un desastre.

Le bateau est fermé cette saison (été 2023) et marqué comme ouvert sur Google !!! Je l’ai signalé

Pas d'expérience. Car il n'y avait pas de cocagne sur le quai à Carcassonne.

Par contre les commentaires sont bon, le personnel navigant est aimable
A titre personnel, c'est loin des images du canal qui font rêver.
Par contre pour une balade sur l'eau cela vaut le coup car le personnel est aimable et a l'heure
