Caroline -enóloga titulada y formadora de enólogos- y Sean Feely dejaron Irlanda para fundar Château Haut-Garrigue, un viñedo ecológico de 10 hectáreas con vistas al valle del Dordoña. Querían abrir su finca a los visitantes, creando una habitación de invitados y dos casas rurales totalmente equipadas, lujosamente amuebladas y construidas ecológicamente con madera, con impresionantes vistas sobre el valle. Organizan visitas enológicas de medio día y de un día completo por la región, con degustaciones, comidas de descubrimiento e incluso la posibilidad de crear nuestra propia mezcla.

I stayed in the chateau for a few days taking part in multi-day wine classes/tours where we visited vineyards, explored French wines and (most importantly) tasted lots of them!
Although I was a solo traveller, Caro went out of her way to personalise my experience so I could get the best out of the classes she was running. Her open minded and fluid teaching style is a great touch
She was even kind enough to help me arrange an authentic French village Michelin star experience. A once-in-a-lifetime trip
It’s safe to say my tastebuds were pleased during the whole stay

The tour is very interesting, I learn a lot about organic biodynamic wine, thanks to Caro, she has explained everything so clearly and she is such a lovely person.
The food and the wine were delicious, in addition I am vegan and Caro has been so kind to find for me the right vegan food to pair with the wine. I highly recommend this tour.
