Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip, and actually exceeded my expectations. The house is beautiful and the rooms are modern and extemely comfortable - and very quiet. There was even a stairlift for the upstairs rooms, which was especially appreciated by my 80+ yr mother, who was having some mobility issues.|Thanks to the great weather, we were able to enjoy the beautiful pool, gardens and terrace with wonderful view. The owner, Chiara, let us use the guest kitchen, so we could make simple evening meals that we ate on the terrace.|Chiara was a delight: friendly, welcoming and eager to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed the opportunity to chat with her in the evenings (she speaks Engish, French and Italian). We will absolutely stay here again as soon as we have the chance!

Une hôte qui saura vous accueillir, une vue et un cadre exceptionnel. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable. Un moment couper du temps. N'hésitez pas.

Un ancien fortin du XIIIème siècle avec une vue à 360 degrés. Accueil très agréable de Chiara, prévenante et discrète. Bon petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux et chambres jolies. |Tout près de Bergerac. Piscine dans le jardin et terrasse offrant une vue exceptionnelle.

La Maison Forte (gite)

A wonderful clean, comfortable and well equipped gite with amazing views from the terrace. The shared pool is very clean and the pool area very spacious. Even though it is a shared area, it also felt very private.

Chiara the host is extremely helpful and keen to assist in any way. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were very grateful for her hospitality.

We had a great stay and look forward to returning again.
