The workers were very accommodating. The rooms unfortunately were very hot and we couldn't get them any cooler.

I’m beyond disappointed with the rooms at this hotel. After moving my child into ULM, we returned late and was exhausted and ready to place our leftovers in the refrigerator, needless to say the refrigerator was hot, nasty with mold. I called the front desk and was told maintenance was not on site and that we could move to another room. We accepted the offer to move to another, we arrived at the other room again tired and exhausted, opened the refrigerator and it was iced up. At this point, I called the front desk to be receive compensation for our inconvenience and troubles. I was told that she couldn’t do anything. Therefore, I’m writing this review as well as contacting corporate. If I pay $170 for hotel accommodations, then I expect the hotel to hold up their end of the bargain, which clearly they did not! I expect as a consumer receive what I pay for, and I did not! Therefore more needs to be done to hold hotels accountable.

I’m not finished, whomever the people were above us walked extremely hard and was loud all night. Did I call the front desk, absolutely not…it was made apparent nothing was going to be done anyways. Okay, one more…the fire alarm above the bed flashed a light all night…no sound just flashing light.

I’m more than exhausted due to sleep deprived and being very uncomfortable at this hotel. I will not be staying here again.

Please choose your hotels wisely. I have bombed twice Monroe. This was better than the first, but both are not quality and clean hotels.

staff are incredibly friendly and happy

The room itself was very dirty. I looked under the couch and there was food that rolled under there from previous people. The bedsheets were stained and I saw a bug crawling on the bed. I don’t know for sure if it was a bed bug or not. The staff was super nice about it and switched my room immediately. But I learned that the same night, they gave that bug room to someone else. Again, I don't know if it was a bed bug but it looked a lot like one when I searched for pictures of what they look like online. Either way, they should not have given that room to someone else 2 hours later.
