It was our first time doing a B&B and it definitely won't be our last time staying here. Ms. Laverne cooked a delicious breakfast, the best along the River Front! We also brought our boat along and was able to use the dock! Violet Hill and staff made our weekend getaway memorable. Can't wait to stay here again! You will not be disappointed!!

My teenage daughter loves old homes. As a surprise I booked a night in the Judge Porter House. We were both in awe of the home! It is elegant, well kept and beautifully decorated with furniture from the 1800s. We enjoyed taking in the evening light on the balcony and in the parlor. The beds were not only beautiful antiques but very comfortable. I cannot say enough about the breakfast! The only downside of our stay was that we were only there one night! Will definately stay there again.

This is our home away from home when visiting Natchitoches. Zeffie and her staff are outstanding hostesses and the breakfast cannot be beat. We have stayed in almost every room in the house including the carriage house and have been very happy in each space.

Excellent stay for 6 days. Staff were beyond helpful and very thorough. The breakfast’s were all excellent with an outstanding presentation. We stayed in the guest house and we loved it. Very roomy guest house with small kitchen, living room with chairs and sofa. Bathroom was smaller but very adequate. Their is a walk in closet with lots of storage space for clothes and luggage. It was easy to traverse the spiral staircase to the bedroom. The only non-positive was the only bath is downstairs on the main level. It was no issue to us but if you frequent the toilet during the night, know that you will need to go downstairs. There is a small porch with outdoor seating looking at the garden. The French style doors along the entire wall look out to the garden. Very nice plantings, fountain’s with a lot of flowers and birds everywhere. Highly recommend!!

Ms. Jackie was the best! I can't say enough good things about the accommodations, the food or the service. It was a wonderful experience!
