For a business that is all about restful sleep, allowing landscape workers with very loud blowers 7:30-8am outside your ground floor window is pretty ridiculous.

The staff doesn’t reflect my usual experience with Marriott. I’ve stayed for 6months at a time with this brand. Pretty disappointed.

AC was STRUGGLING in September when we went. The rooms were pretty warm.

It was an older building, the shower curtain rod was falling down. The couch was sinking in the middle I loved having a kitchen to prepare in. The housekeeper I want to give a shout out to Fantasia, she was awesome. She was in and out in record time and she cleaned and vacuumed! But must importantly it was 100+degrees everyday I was there and this must be the only hotel in the planet that doesn't have an ice machine. They just a point for that

Their maintenance man “Washington” walks around with spy glasses. I have never heard of hotels allowing this type of intrusion of privacy. A complaint was made to the manager and she did absolutely nothing and could care less. She said he is a counselor and that is out of character even though another employee confirmed that he indeed does wear spy glasses. Additionally he is confrontational and aggressive. Smh. Shame on Marriott for allowing this poor treatment to their bonvoy member clients. I can’t make this up.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The photos on google do not do it justice. It looked dingey and gross but I promise it is just the lighting. It is clean, these are the softest hotel sheets I’ve had in a long time, they had good breakfast compared (I stayed at a nearby hotel last week and it was abysmal there), and it’s perfectly located near where I need in Lafayette.

Rooms were clean and large. Hotel staff was attentive and nice. The only drawback is that the included breakfast was not very good.

Our stay was very nice. The room was clean without any musty or overly chemical smells. Same for hallways and elevator. The breakfast was good. The eggs are seasoned, which is a change from traditional buffet style. There was whole fresh fruit, milk and yogurt. However, no waffle maker, if that's one of your favorites. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Front desk staff were very pleasant. The hotel is near alot of restaurants, so plenty of food choices. Pool and hot were both available; basketball court also available.

Rooms were very comfortable, especially the bed. Staff was outstanding and very helpful in locating places to eat. We would definitely stay here again when we revisit Lafayette.
