Delicious Experience with Generous Portions and Friendly Service
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, and it was an absolute delight. The waffles were generously sized and incredibly tasty, providing a perfect balance of crispiness and fluffiness. The chicken was juicy and bursting with flavor, complementing the waffles beautifully.
The mac and cheese was exceptional, with a rich and creamy texture that left me wanting more. And let's not forget about the coleslaw – it was fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor, adding a refreshing touch to the meal.
The service was top-notch – attentive, accommodating, and always with a smile. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful dining experience.

An LA staple! Amazing chicken and waffles. Legendary place in Los Angeles. Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Barack Obama, Shaq, Stevie Wonder and many more celebrities have come here to get their amazing soul food! Biscuits and gravy and their Mac n cheese is so yummy too. Definitely stop by this landmark next time you’re in Los Angeles!

It's incredible how a long standing business such as this can manage to so shamelessly lack in a couple areas.
An employee informed me that Roscoe's sales hasn't been as been as fruitful in the last few years compared to back in the day, and the service lately suggests so. This isn't any insider information, as my friends keep telling me so, and that the owner had to cut back on couple of losses including forfeiting his other production studios.
First of all, the merch looks outdated and something out of a 1997 Sears & Roebuck catalog. I mean, it's not that hard to make a cute and simple "Roscoe's" in all caps crewneck and sell them well if you have a good designer on your team. Which my sister is, but I guess Roscoe's can't relate?
Also, even IHOP knows to separate pancakes with the rest of your meal so that they don't get soggy. Roscoe's should get on board with that, as I'm sure funding isn't the issue. The owners just seem stingy.
Lastly, what's so wrong about splitting the bill with card transactions? So long as each person is spending over $20, aren't you still pocketing some money? I don't understand this restaurants mechanisms and if they want to stay around longer than 2024, they're going to need a severe boost in upgrades.

Chicken was ok… The food was ok, The best thing I had was the soda. We sat down fast but the waiter took about 10 minutes to greet us. We ordered, the food took about 15 mins. The waffle was dry & just didn’t taste good. The chicken thigh was ok.

I absolutely love Roscoe's! Every time I've come here, the service is fast and friendly, and the food always slaps! The waffles are my favorite.

Chicken is really good and juicy and. Waffles are good but their potato salad and Mac cheese could improve. But overall from a scale of 1 to 5 I rate this place 3.5

Food was amazing, but the sticker shock hurt. A must go if you've never been, but this isn't everyday place.

The only thing worth mentioning is how baffling it is that this place has a good reputation.
Of the chicken and waffles, neither really impress. The waffles don't taste any better than a store bought Eggo, and the chicken wasn't impressive for the nearly 6 bucks a piece they charge.
I guess since they're open late, you might want to go if it's 3 in the morning and there's absolutely nothing else open, but otherwise skip the spot. There are much better places in LA to go to if you're a tourist.

I’m sure the food here is good; my daughters say so. But I’m sure they would be doing way better if they offered an alcoholic menu on weekends or something different for the younger crowd. Apparently the vibe is like a club, without the drinks. So why wouldn’t you offer drinks?
My younger daughter went with her boyfriend not too long ago during a pit stop to Seattle and says they’re expensive for what give you, and says the waffles don’t travel well. But who knows? Maybe it was just a bad day. Her boyfriend said it was alright. He says Jollibee any day though, lol.
I never been there but my daughters like to go whenever they are in town, especially my older one. Shes the one who introduced this gem to her younger sister and my nephew. She’s been visiting for the last 10 years so the food must be decent. She says it’s nostalgic and a small piece of Hollywood that seems to have remained unchanged. As business owner ourselves for 24 years, my wife and I enjoy supporting mom and pop shops. We wish Roscoe’s the best of luck. Maybe we’ll try it too, one day.

My server isaac was the best.attentive,professional,polite.he made sure we had a good time .????????.it was very busy .the waffles were buttery,the wings hott!just the way i like.????????????.

Whenever in Los Angeles area, Roscoe's is a MUST stop for me... I go to is either 1/4 or 1/2 dark chicken, with gravy on the side... this visit, I went with 1/2 dark chicken (2 legs, 2 thighs) with gravy on the side and a side order of coleslaw.
Coleslaw was just ok, the waffle was good, but seemed like the chicken was big over fried. Which then made it bit dry for me... the gravy did help, but they could do better job on frying the chickens!

The chicken was so seasoned. The waffle batter also tasted very good, just don't expect the waffles to be thick. Overall the food was awesome and the customer service was excellent.

Waffles werent thick and average. Chicken was dry and hard - overcooked! Waiter brought me a new piece. Overpriced in my opinion: 25$ and stillhungry. It was the worst culinary experience in California!
