Food was average but the real issue was the waiter.
Hurried us through our order in an aggressive manner. Then went to his friend and openly mocked us, referring to us as ‘Americans’ (we’re British).
Took ages just to bring water then aggressively handed out glasses.
At the end of the meal, again, aggressively collected our plates like he was in a hurry, clattering all over the place.
He argued we’d not paid enough before agreeing and saying he wasn’t good at maths.
There was no thank you or goodbye upon leaving.
All in all, a strange, unwelcoming and weirdly aggressive experience. I get the feeling they don’t like tourists.

One of the best restaurants in Venice. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was perfect. The antipasto, the pizza, the pasta, and the tiramisu were all amazing to us. Drinks were definitely flowing. Service was fast and attentive. The only downside was the amount of fruit flies, but it’s just part of the atmosphere.

Waren schon einige Male hier. Der heutige Besuch war sehr enttäuschend. Service kurz angebunden, hektisch. Die beiden KellnerInnen rannten von Tisch zu Tisch. Es war nicht möglich ein Getränk nach zu bestellen. Keine Nachfrage, ob alles gut ist oder es Wünsche gibt. Sepia zäh und bitter ( zu stark gegrillt), Spinat ohne Geschmack, Polenta kalt. Vielleicht sollte man an einem Samstagabend dort nicht hingehen! Lokal brechend voll und Personal zu knapp!.SCHADE!

This is my favorite place in Venice. They had two selections of fresh seafood. My brother and I had the Sea Bass, ]the way itwas prepared was outstanding with potatoes .

Cibo buono
Niente di eccezionale ma se tutti gli altri ristoranti sono pieni va benissimo.

Arrivati di sabato sera con locali tutti pieni, ci hanno subito fatto accomodare e serviti in 15 minuti

Romantic place, top food, top drinks , top staff. Quentin Tarantino passed at the door and literally no one recognized him, he smiled knowingly and blinked at me. It obviously enhanced the entire dinner experience haha The manager and waiters were great, professional and super nice. For me this was definitely the best restaurant I found in Venice . Thank you for all !

El lugar se ve bonito pero el gestor es un déspota maleducado que no debería estar al público. No sabe cómo se debe tratar al cliente, mal acostumbrado.por el rio de turistas que pasan frente a su taberna tratándose de Venecia. No lo recomiendo a menos que no les guste el mal trato.

Ci siamo fermati qui per pranzo mentre esploravamo zone meno frequentate della laguna e ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene! La taverna è proprio tipica della zona, calda, accogliente, abbastanza ampia e con tanti posti a sedere, rustica il giusto!
Abbiamo preso dal menù, abbastanza ampio e con tutti piatti rappresentativi della zona, una pizza Napoli e il baccalà mantecato con polenta: la pizza non è male, sottile, croccante forse sarebbe potuta esser più golosa, mentre il baccalà l'ho trovato buono, cremoso il giusto, la polenta invece forse è da preparato ma con la cottura alla griglia recupera e quindi gradevole con la croccantezza fuori che contrasta la morbidezza del pesce, però era un po' troppo unto in generale il piatto per i miei gusti.
Il servizio è stato abbastanza veloce, cortese e gentile: va anche detto che anche se era orario di punta per il pranzo (circa le 13/13.15), eravamo uno dei pochi coperti della giornata. Comunque, ci siamo trovati bene ugualmente! Il rapporto qualità/prezzo sui piatti è giusto, visti anche gli altri ristoranti della zona, mentre invece acqua e caffè li abbiamo trovati piuttosto cari (6€ la bottiglia d'acqua naturale).
Tutto sommato è stata una calda sosta piuttosto piacevole!

It's taken me a little while to finish reviews based on my trip to Italy with my husband, but I saved the best for last! We ended our journey in Venice, staying three nights at a lovely apartment off the Rio De S. Agostin. This restaurant was quite close, with tables on the terrace next to the canal. Our first evening, we stopped for Select Spritzes before heading out to an evening tour. We were early starters but the service was outstanding none the less. The next day, we had a long day of touring, so when we returned, stopping for a spritz seemed appropriate. I quickly decided to remain and move to anitpasto, dinner, and dessert. Our traveling companions joined us on the terrace for a magical evening by the canal. My group of four had a fabulous time, an amazing meal, and remained on the terrace for at least three hours! Styles, our server, was so attentive and ensured every minute was comfortable and fun! I asked him to choose my dinner, a fish dish that was delectable. He chose the wine, a yummy Valpolicella, and a chocolate dessert that was equally as yummy. As much research as we did planning this journey, it is often the unplanned that becomes the most memorable. This was one of those moments! I hope others will have as much fun as we did!

Très charmante petite terrasse au bord d'un canal, loin de la foule de Venise. Cadre idéal pour déguster de très bonnes pizzas en fin de journée, accompagnée dun verre de vin local. Les serveurs sont très arrangeants et chaleureux. Attention cependant à anticiper le "couvert " dans l'addition finale.
