Prosciutto, salame, Toma d'Alpeggio: todos los productos de aquí provienen de los cuatro rincones del Piamonte y del Valle de Aosta y están acompañados de fruta, ensalada, mermeladas y miel. El equipo puede responder a todas sus preguntas sobre la gastronomía local. En Barotto, estaremos encantados de explicárselo todo y darle una probada. Dada la calidad (y la cantidad también) de lo que hay en las placas, considere que los precios no son realmente excesivos

Firstly, despite having made a reservation, our table was not ready when we arrived. We were made to wait, which was not ideal, especially after a long day. To make matters worse, the table we were eventually seated at was located right in front of the restroom, which was not the most pleasant dining location.
Another issue was with the wine service. We were not provided with a wine card, and when we asked the waiter for advice on selecting a bottle, we were taken aback when he recommended what turned out to be the most expensive bottle in the place. To our surprise, we were not informed of the price beforehand, which resulted in a significant bill shock at the end of the meal.
Furthermore, the cost of our meal was quite steep for what we received. For two antipasti, a bottle of wine, and a serving of cured meat (with no coffee or dessert), we were charged nearly 50 euros per person. We found this to be absolutely overpriced, especially considering the overall experience.
In summary, while the food at this restaurant was okay, the issues with table readiness, seating, and the wine recommendation left us with a less than satisfactory dining experience. Additionally, the high cost for what we received made us feel like we didn't get good value for our money. We hope that the restaurant takes these points into consideration and improves their service in the future.
