Una buena dirección para viajeros con poco presupuesto que quieran alojarse cerca del Kurfürstendam y del Palacio de Charlottenburg. El desayuno es opcional, basta con ignorar la fachada pintada de colores y sonriente...

Wie man seit längerem ja nun hört, soll die Fassade übergestrichen werden, damit sich die Immobilie wieder ins gesamtheitliche Bild fügt.
Aber genau das ist Berlin...
Bund und etwas anderes!
Ich hoffe, dass das HappyGoLucky noch in seiner jetzigen Form eine Weile erhalten bleibt. ???? Schade, wenn der Charme der Stadt nach und nach verschwinden soll.
I was permitted to check-in early which was really, really useful and I was grateful.
The location is perfect, a few mins from the station and I walked to some of the main sights from there which is the best way to see town!
Unfortunately, it was very noisy at night and in the morning but I guess that's applicable to most hostels.
The WiFi was good in both rooms and reception and I really liked the vibe of the communal areas during my one night stay. Met a few interesting folks.
There's a secure room in which to leave your luggage if you have a later flight.
My single room was tiny but had everything one needed... I'm on the fence about value for money. I'd stay again but wouldn't face the courtyard and would request the highest floor or not at all due to noise levels.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und der Check-In war reibungslos.
Das Zimmer, auf dem ich war, war handwerklich gut gearbeitet und sauber.
Bis auf eine gewisse Hellhörigkeit des Hausflures (ist aber typisch für Altbau) war es sehr ruhig auf dem Zimmer.
Von Dreck, schmutzigen Betten oder gebrauchten Handtüchern wie in anderen Rezensionen kann ich Gott sei Dank nicht berichten.
