El Clarendon es el hotel más antiguo que sigue en funcionamiento en la capital. El edificio, basado en los planos de Charles Baillairgé, data de 1870 y está lleno de historia y romanticismo. Muy bien situado, dentro de las fortificaciones del Viejo Quebec, este hotel de 4 estrellas es conocido por su excelente servicio y sus instalaciones de alta calidad. This is my second time here and this time some service was horrible ', I was embarrassed by the from desk in from of another member of the staff and passing customers and my wife, I had to call the manager, she solve my problem but not before the embarrassing moment , and I wasn't even giving a apology, and still had to pay the full price , I was there for my 11 year anniversary last year and this was my 12 and it wasn't pleasant.

I was expecting much more professional service. I booked 3 rooms for my family and the visitors from Europe. I was promoting how beautiful city Quebec was and I asked for room with a view at least for one of them. But I was told they didn`t have any available, even though I had booked 7 days before.

The only downside is the noise. You can hear people in the hallway and the rooms above you when they are taking a shower. Also the "views" in the inner court yard are non-existent, ask for an exterior facing room.
