La bodega histórica de los Hospicios de Estrasburgo data de 1395 y se utilizaba ya en la Edad Media para almacenar vino, grano y otros productos perecederos. 600 años después, ha conservado su función original. La suntuosa bodega abovedada exhala los aromas de los vinos almacenados en unas cincuenta barricas de roble restauradas y tres toneles históricos que datan de 1472, 1519 y 1525. ¡La más antigua contiene el vino en barricas más antiguo del mundo!

La sélection de vin est plutôt bien et les vendeurs sont très gentils et disponible pour tous renseignements.

Compared to other places in Strasbourg, this place is really suitable for English speakers who don't onow french. Entry is for free and you can take a tour of the wine celler where there are posters explaining interesting facts about the items in the building or the building itself (in English, French and German). For the price of 3 euros you can also recieve a speaker with an audio guide which explains the facts more thoroughly. They have the oldest wine in the world. It is a really beautiful place and the wines there are at a very reasonable price at their quality. The staff were also really nice.
I really recommend a visit to this place.
