Very nice building, and handy location, unfortunately our stay was not great. The breakfast was abysmal stone cold “hot” food items and the other items were all uncovered with wasps everywhere (counted 3 in the jam alone), and def not worth the €25 cost. Air con in the room was so noisy we had to keep turning it off throughout the night even though we were baking in the room.

Room was beautiful and spacious. The building has a lot of character. We stayed for three nights during the heat wave. I understand that the building is old and doesn’t have a/c throughout but it was brutally, nauseatingly hot in the hallways and elevator the entire time. They should have plugged in fans all over the place. The stairwell was blocked off so you were forced to use the elevator which I don’t like at all. The staff was pleasant and helpful but the service to the room was sub-par. We actually ran out of toilet paper! Cleaning lady did not leave an extra. The hand soap and shampoo were both almost empty when we got there. Were refilled when I asked. Bed comfortable but pillows weren’t. A/c in the room was good. Location was quiet. Good if that’s what you want but it doesn’t give you the feel of being in the action. Not convenient to breakfast places and the breakfast there is €25!! Ridiculous. €5 just to get coffee in the morning. Machines to make instant in the room but not the same. For the high price we paid for the room, the hotel was, overall, a bit disappointing.

Joli hôtel been situé au centre de Strasbourg. Chambres rénovées récemment très confortables.
Seul point négatif il manquait des prise de courant pour charger son smartphone sur la table de nuit et un interrupteur général proche du lit.

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour le jour de mariage qui se passait à Strasbourg. Nous avions demandé si il était possible d'avoir la chambre un peu plus tôt dans l'après-midi pour pouvoir nous préparer.
En arrivant, en plus d'être accueillis avec le sourire, non seulement la chambre était prête, mais nous avons en plus eu droit à un surclassement. Une délicate attention en ce jour important pour nous.
La suite était parfaite, grande, au calme et confortable.
Nous avons également profité du "Regency", le bar de l'hôtel pour boire un verre avant de partir. J'adore l'endroit, où le personnel est d'ailleurs également très sympathique.
Bref, un super moment qui a rendu le jour de notre mariage encore plus sympa! Merci à toute l'équipe!

Overlooking a church and close to a train and tram stop, this hotel is outside the island yet within easy walking distance to the cathedral and other attractions. ||Our room had a view of the church nearby. The breakfast buffet is in a well lit room and sufficient. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed for a short time with my family, hotel very central location and convenient to walk to the center.|Attention the car parking is not in the hotel but is a little bit far away, 1km…..||Friendly and kind and helpful reception staff.|Breakfast good but to much the cost of 25€ each||It’s just a pity that at the time of check out we had added extra costs and that if I didn’t notice I paid more in an unkind and polite lady with arrogance she wanted to be right and in the end she admitted mistake but she didn’t even apologize!

Hotel esteticamente molto bello,camere spaziose,ben arredate e pulite,personale cordiale

Tuttavia trovo che i servizi siano da rivedere.Nella camera le prese erano insufficienti e scomode(in bagno e lontano dal letto),il minibar è presente ma molto caro(15 euro una piccola bottiglia di vino), prodotti da bagno quasi assenti(era presente il classico dispenser multiuso e la cuffia doccia).

La colazione deludente per il prezzo,per 25 euro era presente solo qualche formaggio/salume,marmellate,pane,pancake.
La macedonia non sembrava fresca ma fatta con le classiche macedonie in scatola,i dolci di "pasticceria" erano molto molto semplici e non sembravano veramente di panetteria.
Non discuto la qualità ma per 25 euro mi aspettavo molto molto di più.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach unschlagbar – zentral und ideal, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Die Parksituation ist allerdings etwas tricky: Die Parkplätze kosten 30 € pro Nacht, daher am besten vorher reservieren und das Automodell angeben. Es gibt einen Valet-Service, was super praktisch ist, allerdings sind die Parkplätze eher klein – unser SUV (Opel Grandland X) hat aber trotzdem gut gepasst.

Das Zimmer war zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Frühstück hatten wir keines gebucht, daher können wir dazu nichts sagen. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit – ein großes Plus!

Fazit: Wir würden definitiv wieder hier übernachten!

This hotel is located very close to the city center and next to the river, allowing to have a nice walk alongside the river towards the city center. The staff was friendly and very forthcoming. Hints about some broken stuff (in our case the soap dispenser didn't work in the room) were promptly addressed and fixed. There is no dedicated parking, however the hotel offers a valet for 30€ for the night. This was alright, however when we got the car back, car settings were changed, seat position moved, mirrors changed. I wasn't happy with that. The room and bed was clean. I expected a bigger room, especially since I booked the superior room. I have been to other places in Strasbourg in the same price range having much larger rooms. The traditional hotel itself looks stunning - yet at the same time looks dated. Wallpapers with holes or broken sinks here and there. The building is asking for repairs...
The bar and lobby sits in the dark and doesn't give anyone the desire to enjoy a drink.

My friend and I stayed at the Hotel Regent Contades to visit the lovely Christmas Markets in Strasbourg. The hotel was ideally located as we were able to walk to the markets or take the tram. The room was a perfect size for us and always clean. We were given a great recommendation for a restaurant and we went there twice.

Very friendly staff. They give you a free drink of choice when you check in. The rooms don’t have an iron and bord. Nice breakfast room. Great location.

Дуже задоволені проживанням в готелі.
Наш номер був з терасою, але взимку було холодно ми не могли там сидіти.
Ліжко велике і комфортне, постіль, подушки і ковдра високої якості, що дуже важливо для сну.
Сніданки не брали, замовляли сауну, що входить в вартість.
Сауна на 5му поверсі, має душ, місце для відпочинку але не має туалету, майте на увазі. Замовляйте заздалегідь.
Локація зручна.

Good location, clean rooms.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix ! Nous avons passé un magnifique week-end à deux à Strasbourg. La situation de départ est top, le prix très correct et surtout très recommandé pour les amateurs de sauna. Il suffit de réserver son créneau horaire et d'avoir l'espace sauna pour soi pendant ce temps, ce qui est très confortable. Le parking n'est pas si simple et peut être très cher. Le mieux est de demander à l'hôtel où vous pouvez vous garer.
