I was really happy that I chose this Wonderful Hotel to spend my time in this beautiful city of Athens.

Every member of the staff that I came in contact with was always very friendly and very helpful.

The food at the restaurant was very reasonable priced and not jacked up like some places. And speaking about food every thing that I ordered was very delicious.

One can not say enough about this Hotel and it’s staff and what makes it extra special is the fact you are just either a few minutes or maybe a 30 walk to many of the places that you came to Athens to see.

We enjoyed our two night stay in the hotel. Staff were helpful and breakfast was delicious.

I was beyond impressed. The location could not have been more convenient, the staff was so attentive and friendly, and the amenities were unbelievable. The view of the acropolis from the jacuzzi and the atrium restaurant were highlights of our Athens experience! My only wish was that they would have do not disturb door hangers because we like to sleep in and house keeping woke us up a few times, but overall amazing week at Herodion Hotel!

Impressive hotel experience, from the reception of staff, the room, and the overall customer service. While the hotel is well located close to restaurants, notable sites, and the metro, we just had a great overall experience. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the rail station. The hotel staff managed our bags due to us arriving early. The room was clean and met expectations. When the staff learned we were catching a boat early on our departure day, they assertively set up the taxi service direct to the port (highly recommended) and they offered a box to-go breakfast as an extension of their continental breakfast offering.

Very beautiful hotel with clear view of the acropolis and the museum. Quite neighborhood at the centre of Athens close to many tourists attractions and with access to metro. Clean rooms and very friendly staff who try their best with everything you might need.

This hotel was perfectly situated for us! Most things were in walking distance, and the view from the roof top hot tubs of the Acropolis at night was incredible!
The staff were wonderful, very accommdating and welcoming, and truely, it was a pleasure to stay here!
Breakfasts were lovely, and plentiful, and well organised. There was no waiting for a table whenever we went down, which was a bonus, as we didn't need to budget extra time in the mornings for queuing.
Our room was next to the staff cleaning closet/housekeeping room, so we could hear them in the mornings, but this did not detract from our stay at all, as we were up and out every morning anyway, but mentioning it in case someone else would want a lie in, then maybe you would want to ask for a room away from there.
Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend you stay here!

-extremely helpful staff: to explain, to suggest, to show, to describe, to support, to listen, to translate, to print out, to call taxi, to purchase a theaters tickets , to walk(!!!) you to the Pharmacy, hidden itself around the corner, to carry you luggage, to feed you after late arrival, to bring you back from the hospital (unfortunately had to experience even with that) - IT’S ALL ABOUT HERODION HOTEL!!!

Our group of 26 students and adults recently stayed three night at the Herodion Hotel and could not have been happier with our experience. Several of us had an amazing view of the Acropolis from our balconies. The staff was kind and professional while the rooftop meeting space accommodated our group's needs nicely. But the highlight of our stay was the spectacular breakfast served each morning. We plan to return in the future!

Das Herodion Hotel hat mir einen unvergesslich schönen Aufenthalt (20. - 27.03.2024) in Athen ermöglicht. Das Hotel teilte mir mit, dass alle Zimmer in den letzten zwei Jahren von Grund auf neu renoviert wurden.

Mein sehr geräumiges Zimmer habe ich im modernen boutique Stil aufgefunden, mit edlen Farben und Materialien, wie u. a. großes Doppel-Boxspringbett, Wasserkocher und Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine, Fernseher, schwere Stoffe, mit Balkon und großer Glasschiebetür, Marmorbad mit ebenerdige Dusche. Für mein Zimmer hatte ich einerseits meine persönliche Zimmerservicekraft, die mir jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen hat und andererseits den Hotelservice, der jeden Nachmittag vorbeigeschaut hat, ob ich noch Tee, Kaffee oder irgendetwas anderes brauche.

Das Hotel verfügt über einen separierten Frühstücksraum, wo alles angeboten wird, was das Herz begehrt.

An der Stelle sei erwähnt, dass dieses Hotel auch um die Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen bemüht ist, denn es wird nichts nach Außen vergeben. Es wird alles innerhalb des Hotels erledigt/produziert, ob es die Reinigung ist oder eben die eigens installierte Küchenabteilung, die alles per Hand produziert, von Brot, über Kuchen, über Kekse bis hin zu jeder Speise.

Weiterhin bietet das Hotel einen wunderschön hergerichteten Salon mit Bar und Restaurant an, wo man verweilen möchte und sich dabei vergessen kann - dass man hier Sternemäßig dinieren kann versteht sich von selbst.

Schließlich zum Highlight des Herodion: Auf dem Dach des Hotels gibt es eine umwerfende Aussicht auf die Akropolis und den Parthenon - zum Greifen nahe.
Diese Aussicht kann man auch von einigen Zimmern aus genießen. Wenn man aber nicht diese Zimmeraussicht hat, sollte man auf jeden Fall, entweder in den Saison-/Sommermonaten das Rooftop-Restaurant besuchen und einen unvergesslichen romantischen Abend genießen oder ganzjährig eines der zwei Jacuzzi benutzen, um dieses monumentale Bauwerk versuchen aufzunehmen.

Der Service hochgradig professionell und Kundenorientiert. Man Versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Das Hotel bietet sogar einen Shuttle-Service zum/vom Flughafen an. Das Personal sehr freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Hier ist man gut aufgehoben, denn hier ist man pro Kunde und nicht Profit, um jeden Preis. Ein Beispiel, weil die Feinheit im Detail steckt: Ich dummer Tourist, reise zum ersten Mal, nur mit einem paar Schuhe, welches ich anhabe. Auf dem Weg nach Athen geht der hintere Teil der Sohle inkl. Absatz ab. Ich humpele wie verrückt zur Rezeption und bitte um Hilfe. Man hätte mich auch zum nächsten Schuhladen schicken können, damit ich für 100 oder 200 Euro neue Schuhe kaufe. NEIN, die super Jungs von der Rezeption haben alles in Bewegung gesetzt, um den nächstgelegenen und offenen Schuster ausfindig zu machen, haben dort selbst angerufen und angekündigt, dass gleich ein Kunde vorbeikommt und haben mir die Adresse und den Weg dorthin aufgezeigt. Der Schuster war tatsächlich um die Ecke, er hat den Schuh angeschaut, ein bisschen Leim hier, ein paar Nägel da, innerhalb von zehn Minuten war der Schuh wie neu und für fünf Euro wird er wahrscheinlich weitere 10 Jahre so halten. EXZELLENTER SERVICE!

Der Standort ist natürlich EINZIGARTIG! Das Herodion Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum des Zentrums, direkt unter der Akropolis, direkt neben dem Hotel befindet sich das Akropolis Museum, alles (alt und neu) ist sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar, u. a. Plaka, Monastiraki, Einkaufsstraße Ermou, Odeon des Herodes Atticus und nicht zu vergessen, 200 m. vom Hotel befindet sich die U-Bahn Station Akropolis, von wo aus man ganz Attika günstig erreicht.

Das Herodion Hotel und der Standort bieten Luxus, der in Sterne nicht ausgedrückt werden kann - EINFACH UNBEZAHLBAR - somit ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stark in Ordnung.

An excellent hotel with an excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff everywhere, from the doorman and reception to room service and the restaurant. The hotel provided several tours which were great.

This was the first time I've used this very fine hotel. Nice room with a view of the Acropolis; excellent breakfasts and the staff, especially on the front desk, were brilliant - very friendly & very helpful as I tried to work out the best way to buy a ticket for the Acropolis. My only disappointment was that as I visited in March, the roof terrace bar & restaurant wasn't open. I did go up there & take some photos, and the views are spectacular.
If you want to visit the Acropolis early in the day & avoid the crowds, this is the hotel for you. It's about 5 minutes walk to the entrance.

Rooms! Room service failed to replace milk and tea
Our 1st room was on floor 3 and had sewage issues, so we were moved to a new room on level 3, still the same issue! So moved again to 2nd floor to a room with single beds! Sometimes you just need to get away from the kids, didn't work
Such a shame because 1st impressions I would have returned, no slight on the staff

After missing the manager we finally spoke with him and he was extremely apologetic and resolved our issue. Acknowledged the intermittent sewage issue explaining they are trying to resolve
We would dedinately stay again foe allbrhe positives mentioned in 1st post I would just ask to not be given a room on level 3

Stayed here for three nights. The location is excellent, in a quiet neighborhood, literally around the block from the Acropolis museum and minutes away from the main tourist attractions. The room was a bit small but very clean and well maintained.
We had an AMAZING view of the acropolis from our room and balcony.

Great hotel and location. The rooftop restaurant wasn't open for the season, too bad because it was the reason we chose it. Breakfast was wonderful and the atrium restaurant (their ground floor restaurant) had nice character.

AMAZING! we booked a hostel in a super unsafe area accidentally so booked this and left the other place instantly. we could not be happier it was a great location, had great staff, amazing breakfast, awesome rooftop jacuzzi, and most importantly was super safe! will definitely be coming back

This hotel is in a great location and the staff are outstanding, lovely people, giving helpful friendly service, one and all. Breakfast foodstuffs and service were excellent, but the seating is hard, tacky, wooden seats that are far too low for the tables made life difficult at breakfast.
Our double bedroom #402 and its shower room was very small. No wardrobe, just a bit of hanging space and little or no space for much else.
The bed is uncomfortable, with only a 100 mm topper, not a proper mattress, and the shower varies in temperature enough to be uncomfortable. We had poor sleep and struggled with the shower and room size unhappily all week.
If there are bigger, better rooms here, I strongly recommend that you upgrade.

This hotel is exquisite and full of art, the breakfast is delicious, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the staff are amazing (especially Mr. Panos Kordas, who ensured our trip was the trip was wonderful). This hotel is an invest in a great trip, it is so centrally located and has the best of everything. When we come back we will definitely be staying here again.

I enjoyed my 5-day stay at the Hotel Herodion. We hosted our team retreat here, and so far I've been very happy with the food, the accommodations, the staff's courtesy and friendliness, and the location. I got to walk and see the some very famous sites without needing to get on a bus or go on a long tour.

Two things I'd like to see improved is the air conditioning in the room (you can only switch on heating in the evenings), and the drain in the shower. I'm not sure what caused it, but on my second night, the shower flooded a bit.

Thanks again to the Hotel Herodion and its staff for making my stay pleasurable!
