Vegan options the dark chocolate and all the fruit gelato. The flavours are amazing and accessible prices. The lady was very welcoming and nice.

A mere hole in the wall around the corner from St Peter’s Basilica. But its humble facade belies the power of their product. Ice cream. Extremely good ice cream. Served generously and with pride. My mixed berry sorbet rippled with summer fruits. Sharp acidic with mild sweetness. My little one had the chocolate. He’ll eat nothing else. It was devoured but not before Daddy had a taste. Pure unadulterated high cocoa content chocolate. Just gorgeous. If you’re in Vatican City go here. There are hundreds of gelataria’s in Rome. Some are just far better than others.

I wanted to taste gelato while visiting Vatican. It was very delicious and authentic, not like colorful touristic stuff. The gentleman was very kind. I would definitely go again.
All three people on my group felt so uncomfortable the entire time because the dude was just so terse and stern to us as well. On the bright side, the gelato was decent so if you don’t mind attitude, then it’s a solid place.
