Mathilde es un restaurante francés situado en el barrio de soma, al sur de Market Street, justo al lado del Yerba Buena Center. Al empujar la puerta del restaurante, una historia empieza: ambiente acogedor, moderno, patio exterior: ideal para una cena a dos. La carta retoma los clásicos de la cocina francesa. Como los locales, seguramente se regalarán con el casquillo o el osso bucco, pero una cosa es segura: conserva espacio para los postres, son excelentes.

I don't even understand the poor reviews, this is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Absolutely the best French onion soup and filet mignon I've ever had. Don't miss out on the potato puffs either, they're filled with by bechamel. Yummmm.

Outstanding! Phenomenal! Incredible! Exquisite! How many superlative adjectives can one find to describe a restaurant like this? Food was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly, competent, and very attentive even to the small details. I and my family cannot recommend it highly enough. We plan on coming back, even if we have to swim across the bay to get here. It is wonderful to find a restaurant like this to cap off a wonderful day in San Francisco. Miss coming here at your own peril!

This French restaurant reminds me of home. In this huge city I could not image such a sophisticated French restaurant. This chef was spot on. My night was magical. If you dine at night, it is so romantic. So, make sure to dress up! I can not wait to return to the city but this time I hope to meet the chef.
