One of the better places - if not the best - to have dinner at the wharf. Very attentive and friendly staff. Clean rooms and furniture. Management with high courtesy that everything runs well.

Unfortunately, our experience was not a good one. After traveling to California, to see family, we traveled by ferry to San Francisco. Specifically , to eat at this award winning restaurant. It started with the hostess and her snooty demeanor, and finished with an unprofessional server, who was not interested in us having a wonderful experience. After being seated, we waited approximately 25 minutes for service. During this time, management walked by our table several times. No one stopped
to ask, had we been helped beyond receiving water and menus. Once our server shows up to the server station, he then had an unprofessional conversation with management, regarding our table. He than came to our table with a fake performance. After witnessing all of the interactions, I told my family member, I no longer wanted to eat here. A guest should never feel unwanted in your house.

First time in San Francisco and read reviews on this place. It does not disappoint. What an awesome atmosphere right at Pier 39. The servers are so friendly and helpful also the food is amazing! I highly recommend this place. We had the clam chowder, baked oysters, calamari, fish and chips, mixed grill and seafood risotto. Amazing!!!

The service was excellent. All the food was hot and delivered on a timely manner. The Cod and swordfish that we ordered were both cooked to perfection.

We went for an early dinner yesterday, food was great and service by Shawn C was top notch. Sourdough rolls, butter, mussels in white wine, kids meals, Ciopinno, all delicious. The peach blossom cocktail was beautiful and yummy. Thank you for a great meal and excellent service!! We were seated next to a very loud group of six adults, and that was the only thing that wasnt great but thankfully they left shortly after we got our drinks ????

The best part of this restaurant is the view. The food is just ok for the price you pay. We went for lunch and they were packed. It was very noisy! The men's restroom was not working so they were lined up to use the ladies room. Overall I just wasn't impressed and wouldn't really recommend it.

Having made a reservation on Yelp a week ahead, we were grateful for the foresight as the place was bustling! Arriving for our 7:30 reservation, we were delighted to find ourselves seated at a lovely table with a captivating view of Alcatraz, the bridge, and a breathtaking sunset.

As for the culinary delights, we indulged in the clam chowder bowl, and let me tell you, the sourdough bread was an absolute treat! The chowder itself was a delight, brimming with tender potatoes and hearty chunks of clam, making each spoonful a savory experience.

For our main courses, we savored the lobster tails and the scallop and crab risotto. The risotto was a luxurious affair, rich in flavor with generous portions of crab, while the scallops were expertly cooked, complementing the deliciousness of the lobster. Even the green beans were a hit!

Our server was nothing short of exceptional—attentive, courteous, and thoroughly professional. Without a doubt, we'll be returning here. Every aspect of our experience was simply wonderful!

Great food, excellent service both an awesome view! I had the chowder in a cob leaf and it was amazing, Nice Hazy IpA as well. Ideal finish to a pretty hectic day.
While our service was ok, we could see other tables with different wait staff were getting amazing service. All in all a good experience with great food.

We came for calamari and sea food plate for 1 . The service was slow. I would say, the sea food was not fresh, like it was frozen. Calamari was good, but they are added pepper and onion in , which was in proportion too much and the dish was smaller vs the picture in google. For the sea food plate there was too much oil under the pasta, and a pasta was too oily. Also, don’t be surprised with sticky flours close to the washroom… Sorry for all the details, hope it helps to improve;)

Un des meilleurs restaurants au Fisherman's wharf. Ils ne prennent pas les réservations, il faut donc attendre un peu lorsqu'il y a du monde. Demander une table avec vue sur la baie. Ne pas manquer de gouter à la spéccialité locale, la clam chowder, et bien sûr aux huitres ( quoique nos huitres sont meilleures, mais c'est pour le fun!!)
