Williamsburg, un barrio que cada vez se parece más a Manhattan, ha visto surgir en los últimos años varios hoteles de lujo. Es el caso de este hotel boutique de ocho plantas y 150 habitaciones, que juega la carta de Brooklyn con su fachada industrial y sus habitaciones magníficamente decoradas con vigas vistas, metal oxidado y paredes de azulejos. Sin olvidar las magníficas vistas de Manhattan desde algunas habitaciones y la piscina de la azotea. El hotel es frecuentado por jóvenes a la última de Nueva York y más allá.

I was nervous when I booked that this would be a hotel that a brand (Arlo Hotels) bought and slapped a band-aid on, and sadly, I was right.
The rooms are scary-tiny, dirty, toilet seemed like it might fall off its hinges, BED FEELS LIKE SLEEPING ON JUST A BOX SPRING, sheets scratchy.
Asked for a pack and play to be in a room upon arrival- it wasn't.
$29/night destination fee:
-Supposed to get two waters upon check in- we didn't.
-Supposed to get 10% off at the bar/restaurant- we didn't.
Now that that is all out of the way, comes the worst part.
We paid $1700 for 3 nights and din't get a WINK of sleep. Why, you might ask? Because there's a dance club directly below the hotel that is open until *literally* 4:30am and they blare music so loud our hotel room was shaking.
We stayed at the William Vale last year, and debated going there again since we had a perfect expereince there, but wanted to try the Arlo out. Unfortunately, our expectation of it being simply lipstick on a pig was met- would never return here.
