Con una exuberante vegetación como telón de fondo, la encarnación más glamurosa de la marca Sofitel ha creado un complejo eco-chic que lleva la firma del difunto Kenzo Takada, quien diseñó parte de la decoración. El diseño depurado y las curvas sensuales impregnan las 92 suites y villas y el futurista spa mitad dentro, mitad fuera. La misma audacia se aprecia en el restaurante principal, que se asemeja a una catedral con techo de paja. También hay un restaurante de playa, bares, miniclub, actividades diversas, gimnasio y una piscina de 100 metros de largo con forma de panga mauriciana, el machete de los cortadores de caña.

Staff is excellent and so very welcoming, if anything I had to make good use of the DND sign often as the staff were frequently inquiring about any help I might need (at least twice a day, morning with cleaning and evening with additional checks and water refills). Everyone is extremely kind and helpful.
Restaurant and bar prices are very high, even for hotel standards, and there are no shops or locations to eat nearby, so take that into account.
Location is gorgeous, and this is a good home base for sightseeing excursions for the south of the island, provided you get a car or have a guide/driver (there is taxi service at the hotel, I have not tested it though).
Also, no ATM on the grounds - you can pay for everything with a card though.

Les chambres sont très bien équipées même si la déco mériterait d'être réactualisée.
