Un superbe moment que nous avons passé pour notre Lune de miel, grâce au personnel qui fait le charme de cet hôtel. Leurs sourires, bienveillance, service, accompagnement étaient au RDV ! ????
La chambre avec la baignoire et douche extérieure était top, spacieuse, silencieuse.
Nous avons été accompagnés par RAJ qui fait partie du staff de l’hôtel, toujours bienveillant ! Et le SPA offre une variété de soins différents, dans un endroit magique (bord de cascade). Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer VIMLA qui s’est bien occupée de nous, qui est une masseuse au TOP ???? merci encore pour tout!

Les repas : ???? les buffets sont top, les petits déjeuners aussi (large choix, face à la mer)

Emplacement : si on veut du calme, de la nature, de la rando, pas trop de touristes c’est parfait (+ plongée) . Si on cherche le monde, les activités touristiques etc = mieux vaut monter dans le Nord de l’île (car depuis l’hôtel c’est 1h30 minimum pour bouger ailleurs).

Bref, nous avons passé un superbe séjour ! Merci à toute l’équipe pour avoir rendu cette expérience encore plus incroyable !

Sehr schönes Hotel. Wunderbar angelegte Hotelanlage. Sehr gutes Essen und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Immer hilfsbereit und kleine Mängel wurden umgehend beseitigt. Der Stand ist wunderschön. Es sind genug Liegen und es ist auch genug Schatten vorhanden. Eine sehr ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber. Jedoch sind sie ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.

Un message bien tardif pourtant promis à Raj lors de notre séjour en septembre 2022, l'un de nos plus beaux voyages à mes deux enfants et moi-même. Le personnel exemplaire, les plages sublimes, l'hotel agréable. Gros coup de coeur pour ce voyage innoubliable: love Ile Maurice :)

Première visite à Maurice et du coup pas la dernière, séjour inoubliable !! Surtout avec un service irréprochable et d’une gentillesse à en faire palir beaucoup d’autres pays surtout Européen, les 5* sont largement méritée, les Mojitos de Sylvio à tomber par terre. Soins spa très varié et excellent

The hotel is very nice, and the rooms would be very nice if they were in mint condition, but they show their age - could use some serious renovations. Because of that it looks like it's not 100% clean, but the actual cleanliness is good.

Staff is excellent and so very welcoming, if anything I had to make good use of the DND sign often as the staff were frequently inquiring about any help I might need (at least twice a day, morning with cleaning and evening with additional checks and water refills). Everyone is extremely kind and helpful.

Restaurant and bar prices are very high, even for hotel standards, and there are no shops or locations to eat nearby, so take that into account.

Location is gorgeous, and this is a good home base for sightseeing excursions for the south of the island, provided you get a car or have a guide/driver (there is taxi service at the hotel, I have not tested it though).

Also, no ATM on the grounds - you can pay for everything with a card though.

Les chambres sont très bien équipées même si la déco mériterait d'être réactualisée.

Faites de votre séjour , un moment inoubliable en allant séjourner au So.
Le personnel dans son ensemble est une vraie pépite. Disponible et à l’écoute , ils contribuent largement à la réputation du So .
Une mention spéciale à Didier , Raj , et Anastajia . D’autres personnes mériteraient d’être citées mais malheureusement, j’ai oublié les prénoms .
La qualité et la diversité des plats , l’hygiène , la sécurité , le paysage à couper le souffle , la qualité des soins au SPA, les multiples activités au sein de l’hôtel , le Kids Club , le talent incroyable du chef du restaurant de la PLAGE … vraiment un sans faute !
Sans parler de l’emplacement incroyable de l’hôtel , qui est un véritable écrin niché dans une végétation luxuriante , au pied de la plage .C’est la 2eme fois qu’on y séjourne , et nous y reviendrons très vite .

La gentillesse légendaire des Mauriciens n'est pas une réputation à refaire. Elle se confirme dans cet hôtel. Chaque personne du staff est bienveillante et avenante? Les chambres sont gigantesques avec vue sur la nature depuis votre lavabo...
Le must... la douche extérieure à l'abris des regards, quel plaisir! Ainsi que la baignoire sur la terrasse côté jardin.
L'offre du petit déjeuner et du buffet est très correcte.
Un grand merci pour cette pause de 48h chez vous!

Nous avons passé 5 jours dans ce tres bel hotel idéalement situé. le gros plus de cet hotel est le personnel exeptionnel ( surtout Raj et Jamie, merci a vous 2, vous etes de belles personnes). Nous etions en famille avec enfant de 8 ans en demie pension. Le petit dejeuner et dinner etaient parfaits, variés, produits frais, il y en avait pour tous les gouts. Nous avons eu un probleme de climatisation a minuit. J ai appelé, le personnel de maintenance est venu en 10 min, ont présente leurs excuses, reparé en 10 mn et répartis. Merci!! La chambre est spacieuse et propre. Je recommande fortement cet hotel pour sejour repose en famille.

Die Angestellten waren super hilfsbereit und einfach mega freundlich!
Man hatte über die Tage schon fast ein freundschaftliches Verhältnis aufgebaut.
Die Lage ist mit das schönste, was ich je gesehen habe. Ein komplett verlassener Strand mit super Sitzmöglichkeiten, eine tolle Strandbar, ein Bootshaus, indem man Kayak, Schnorchelequipment etc. kostenfrei ausleihen konnte. Die Liste könnte noch ewig so weiter gehen, wie schön dieses Hotel ist.
Absolut empfehlenswert!

Nous avons passez un très bon séjour en famille dans cet hôtel.
Le personnel est parfait. Toujours bienveillant et soucieux de faciliter la vie des clients dans l’hôtel. Le sourire et la gentillesse toujours présents.
La villa est super, grande et parfaitement placée. Idéal pour un séjour en famille.
Seul point plus mitigé le vieillissement de l’hôtel qui commence à se faire sentir avec des carreaux qui s’enlèvent dans la piscine, des interrupteurs qui ne fonctionnent que par moment et un hammam (de la villa) qui commence à faire pâle figure.

Cela restera un excellent souvenir pour toute la famille

Et on pense que les chambres sont magnifiques mais pour ce qui est de la qualitée du resto buffet halowen hier soir 31 octobre tout etait bon marché aucune qualitée rien ne sortait de l ordinaire c est au niveau d un 3 étoiles maximum très décevant personnel super !!!

Wir hatten eine Beachvilla, die keine Wünsche offen ließ. Traumhafte Aussicht, sauberes Zimmer. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (ohne Ausnahme). Besonders danken wir Anastasia, Henry, Raj, Silvio, Varsha, Lindley, Anil, Kovilen, Anish, Fabrice und Nayesh... unseren Goldschatz JAMIE. Das Essen war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Ich habe noch nirgends so viele Fisch- und Meeresfrüchte in all-inclusive genießen können, als hier. Alle Probleme wurden schnell und unkompliziert gelöst. An meinem Geburtstag wurde ich den ganzen Tag verwöhnt. Es war ein Traumurlaub auf der Trauminsel.

Das Hotel ist zweifellos ein wunderbarer Ort. Es liegt in einer sehr schönen und ruhigen Umgebung, was dazu beiträgt, dass der Aufenthalt besonders entspannend ist. Die Atmosphäre hier ist einfach perfekt für Erholungssuchende.

Das Personal verdient besonderes Lob. Sie sind äußerst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, was unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht hat. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team!

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch meinen Taxi-Fahrer, Anil. Er hat meinen Aufenthalt auf der Insel zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Anil hat mich zwei Tage lang begleitet und nicht nur die Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt, sondern auch viel über die Kultur und Geschichte der Insel erzählt. Seine Leidenschaft und sein Wissen haben meinen Aufenthalt wirklich bereichert. Ein großes Dankeschön an Anil!

Ich kann das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um die Schönheit der Insel zu genießen und die Gastfreundschaft des Personals zu erleben.

Un hôtel magnifique, très bien situé en bord de plage. Un personnel à nos petits soins, d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Mention particulière à Noorah qui s’est occupée de notre chambre pendant 9 jours, toujours impeccable, à Pradeep, Vijesh, Raj, Linley, Elie, Thimal, Hiteen, Rajesh, Rajeey, Rajiv, sans oublier le chef Maurice et Marie Michelle. Toutes ces personnes ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Un GRAND MERCI à eux.

Great Hotel. Had 1 week here in October 23, the staff at the hotel are excellent very attentive and polite. This hotel really brings together the best parts of the island. We loved the snorkeling, landscaping, rooms and restaurants. All laid out to provide privacy and a sense of the tropical getaway. As always the staff are the best thing about a good stay and here is no exception, very professional, polite and helpful. Nothing but respect for these people and gratitude.

We stayed in a double luxury room that features an outdoor shower area and quiet garden area looking over the lawn to the sea. The room was kept clean and room service calling regularly to check on provisions such as drinking water.

A quirky accent are the buggy rides from the entrance down into the resort. We hired a car and a golf cart would ferry us to and from the car park.

Snorkeling from the beach is great, whilst not as epic as the Blue Bay it is fully accessible and very diverse with coral and fish to see.

The wind (when we stayed) often blew in off the sea providing a cool breeze in 28deg heat making it very comfortable.

As B&B guests we used the restaurant and the only negative I have is the price of the onsite food and drink. Expect UK/EU pricing. Beer around £10 a pint, £10 a sandwich, £42pp for the evening buffet. All fairly reasonable in terms of quality but felt a little over priced in comparison to local prices. Food offering is more than sufficient with a good continental and cooked breakfast. I'm fairly certain if a guest had any special requests the hotel would seek to accommodate based on our experience.

Evening music was live and of good taste/quality every night we were there. There was always plenty of space to relax in the bar area and enjoy the scene at the end of the day.

We travelled around a bit of the island, from experience and our preference this is an excellent hotel and value for money. We found many locations within Mauritius lacking in restaurants and evening activities, as such choosing a hotel/resort like this is a great base to head out and explore from or stay and soak up the experience on offer.

We stayed at SO Mauritius for a week and found it relaxing and friendly, the room was well finished with an indoor and outdoor bath /shower, for the food they went out of their way to provide vegeterian indian meals for my twin infants and the 2 of us. Of course the beach was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly , in particular thanks go to chef Rajeev, chef Vinay, Chef Vikram, Neelam, Priya, Raj, Kavish and Divya. I would highly recommend SO Mauritius .

One suggestion, the electronics like TV and music systems in the room are outdated and require latest upgrade.

I had a good time with my mother during the week-end at SO Mauritius. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

Wir wurden hierhin umgebucht da unser eigentliches Hotel 2 Tage vorher mitteilte das es mit der Renovierung nicht fertig wird. Toll!!
Wir waren erst skeptisch aber wurden außerordentlich überrascht! Das große plus ist die sehr freundliche zuvorkommende Belegschaft… die Zimmer sind mega, die Anlage ein kleiner botanischer Garten und das Hausriff einfach der Hammer mit Korallen Anemonen und Unmengen bunter Fische. Das essen ist auch abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Der einzige negative Punkt ist der oft kühle und stark wehende Wind, am Strand.
