Basic but comfortable room. Up a steep flight of stairs. Reception desk unmanned. Breakfast was basic continental style - no eggs or warm dishes. Dinner was fantastic and reasonably priced. Great shower. No teakettle in room. Minimal English spoken.

Très bien accueillis à l'hôtel. La chambre est simple mais très propre de même que la salle de bain. Bon repas au restaurant avec un service souriant. Repartons reposéd sur la Francigena.

Chambre 11 RDC, chambre handicapés trop froide trop proche porte entrée, véritable hôtel des courants d'air.
Hall d'accueil glacial !
Pas de télé dans la chambre et le chauffage à du mal à chauffer la pièce.

It looks great in the pictures but when you get there it really isn't very nice. The web site said the restaurant was open on Sunday nights but we arrived to find it was closed. They advised there was another restaurant in the village, but that was closed due to the owners being on holiday. We decided to move on so forfeited our money, but were happy we did that as the room was not at all nice.

Rooms clean but basic and dated. Issues with plumbing leading to leaks in hallway. Staff delightful, handy resteraunt. Great location for Calais ferry.

Wonderful overnight stay in an exceptionally clean and comfortable room with good facilities. I thought the Auberge had character and the style of the furnishings reflected this. Also, a great location (20 mins frm Calais port) and beautiful surroundings. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had in France - brilliant selection and excellent quality! Merci, on va visiter encore!

Disappointing. This is not an Auberge or country Inn. It is part of a former farm converted into a camping site with pool shop and club house, and a restaurant. There is a pretty farmhouse used in pictures but not part of the commercial site. The ‘Auberge’ hotel is in fact a barn conversion, shabby and old fashioned and in much need of renovation. Reception is not manned and you are told to telephone for help. We got help from the restaurant. The room key was terribly stiff. The room was dark grey painted walls and floor with car boot furniture. With a make over it could have been cosy and welcoming instead of depressing. Breakfast in a nearby barn was ok but again the room was shabby and depressing. |We shall not be going back.

Logis describes this as 'cosy' but it was at best 'essentiel'. Small, cramped room badly furnished with curtain hooks missing. Reception is usually unmanned and requires phoning for service. A nearby logis hotel and restaurant has lower ratings for both the hotel and restaurant and is infinitely better on both counts.

Das Hotel liegt nahe an einer Straße, da jedoch einige Einfahrten und Nebengebäude dazwischen liegen ist es schön ruhig. Das Zimmer war praktisch eingerichtet und im allgemeinen auch sauber. Es war beim Check In niemand anwesend, es hat aber alles funktioniert. Das Frühstück war gut und auch hier Selbstbedienung. Wirklich gut speisen konnte man Abends im angeschlossenen Restaurant, dies war wirklich lecker und zu empfehlen.

Depuis quelques années environ 2 semaines par an, à l’auberge du colombier, et son restaurant à la ferme gourmande, nous tenons à féliciter les cuisiniers Dimitri et Clément, les serveuses Dominique et Florine ainsi que Stéphanie la personne qui s’occupe des petits déjeuners et des chambres pour leur travail et leur gentillesse.
Ils font très bien fonctionner l’entreprise.
Merci de tout cœur, et à l’année prochaine avec ce personnel extra, garder-les.

Great place to stay secure in Calais.

Stayed here last year with caravan. Great campsite.

This year in one of the rooms.

Bed's so comfy, lovely bathroom.

Dinner very nice, portions maybe dare I say too big.

Will stay here evey year for a great location.

Room lighting poor; hardly anyone working reception...had to find someone. Restaurant is great with good food and service. Convenient to Eurotunnel.

Wir haben im Restaurant reserviert. Die Anlage ist schön. Die Terrasse könnte besser sein. Fertige Tische wurden lange so gelassen und nicht abgeräumt...Die Gartenstühle sahen verschlissen aus.
Das Essen war gut, aber auch nicht besonders, kein Wow Effekt.

Meals at the snack bar are inconsistent, the portion size of one meal varies drastically to another. Never had such a small portion of Carbonara!

We stayed here on the last night of our holiday in France as it's located about 15mins from the Eurostar terminal.
We booked it after reading good reviews of the property and also of the restaurant on site.
In the main the rooms were comfortable if a little basic and felt secure.
The meal in the on site restaurant was very good and the wine selection, whilst limited, was also good.
