LE DOME

Great hotel in Arras within a short walk of the town centre. Hotel and rooms were great and good value. The hotel had reservable car parking which suited our group perfectly

- il n'y ait pas de service bar ou restaurant en chambre : lorsqu"on arrive à 23h à Arras tout est fermé !
- il n'y ait pas d'oeufs brouillés au petit déjeuner !

Extremely comfortable small hotel.

We came to Arras to visit WW1 memorials and various sites around the Somme. We stayed at the Le Dome Hotel, which is perfectly situated for easy access to Arras town square.

The hotel is beautiful. Very clean and modern in its decor. The couple who run it were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Although their English was as good as our French, it wasn't a problem, we managed. Our room was everything we needed, clean and well presented, the shower was brilliant and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual continental, served in their lovely dining room, but there was plenty of it.

Just one word of caution, the car park is tight. This is simply down to the layout of old buildings and nothing they can change, but if you drive a big Range Rover, you may struggle, you'll be fine 2CV!

The adjoining restaurant, run by the same people, is also nice, well presented with good clean decor and the food was lovely, if a little expensive, but we ate from the specials board which offered better value.

Would I go back there, for sure I would.

Les chambres sont agréables, spacieuses et propres. Bruit de la clim ce qui est dérangeant la nuit. L’emplacement central est formidable. Le parking est limité et difficile d’accès. Par contre souci de double facturation Booking et hôtel ce qui est incompréhensible et un mois après le problème n’est toujours pas résolu totalement.
