We had the most lovely experience with the proprietor today! He provided a great recommendation for a picnic wine for my travel companion and even opened the bottle so we could drink it easily. We also got a lovely education on the qualities of the wines, including non alcoholic options for me. Many thanks!

We loved this little wine shop in the Latin Quarter of Paris! We decided to go for a little picnic in Luxembourg Gardens. We stopped at Café Isabelle and a cheese shop along with this wine store to grab some snacks and they’re all right next-door to each other! Le Repaire de Bacchus has an incredible selection, but even better was the service we received. They recommended a Bordeaux, which went perfectly with our food. Definitely worth a stop for the amazing prices, the great selection and even better service!

Je voudrais bien acheter une bonne bouteille après une journée dure au travail. Je prends une photo d’une bonne bouteille de Whisky pour envoyer vers mes amis (seulement de la bouteille, pas de personnes). Le propriétaire m’a pointé sur manière assez attaquante que je ne peux pas prendre des photos sans sa permission. Ce n’est pas comme ça que tu gagne le coeur de tes clients. Et surtout pas comment faire business. Peut-être on était deux à avoir une mauvaise journée mais à la fin je suis le client.

Le propriétaire n'est pas aimable du tout , voir irrespectueux !

I added this shop to my regular stop and the bakery and cheese shop next door. The young man who helped me was so good. He asked what I was having and I showed him the bread and cheese. He recommended a delicious Pinot Noir from Alsace! It was perfect. Go here. You will be taken care of well.

Small wine shop just next to "le maison dísabelle".
Plenty of selections ranging from 5-100+.
The guy was friendly and explained a bit about wine and recommended some. Bought 2 red wines (dry) each about 15-20€.

This was an excellent wine store! We don't have many places like this in Australia where you can walk into a small store, ask for recommendations with a price budget and have a number of bottles to choose from. The gentleman who served us was polite and very helpful. We came back twice.

great selection at fair and affordable prices. I got a nice chilled bottle of champagne for the park. friendly staff. location is next to the best bakery and a cheese shop. everything you need for a perfect picnic.
