Very nice family restaurant. Been in the same location since prior to WWII. Food is good, service is excellent and very friendly, probably by the restaurant's owner. It is a small restaurant with a unique atmosphere. Dishes are well executed and particularly good are any dish with mushrooms.

Best meal we had in Paris so we went back on our last night. Thomas, the owner was so great! This place is busy for a reason so I would suggest making a reservation on line. First meal was escargot + steak and Frites. Absolutely delicious. Tonight we had the lamb special- best lamb I have ever had. So tender and flavorful. Momo, our server has a radiant energy and makes dining fun. Thomas has created a fantastic dining experience.

Nous sommes arrivés à 119 élèves de 20 ans dont des végétariens et différents intolérants et 2 enseignants à 12h30 sans réservation. Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement dans une ambiance familiale avec un grand sourire. Les produits et les plats sont de très bonne qualité, le service à été très agréable et aux petits soins avec le sourire. Une petite enseigne qui vaut le détour et où les prix sont très raisonnables! nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir lorsque l'occasion se présentera à nouveau.

Lovely! Impeccable quality, taste, and atmosphere. We were delighted with every dish, every course. (Pave au poivre was perhaps the best we have ever had.) Merci beaucoup! (We wish we could give more stars). Edited: we came back on our last night as the food was so good- and again, not enough stars! NOTE: This is a family-run restaurant full of heart and soul. You will bring your patience and in return, you will be fed wonderful food. Some of the best I have had in the whole of France.

On a tout aimé au Terminus, qu'on nous avait chaudement recommandé. En effet, l'accueil familiale (au sens propre, j'ai eu l'impression qu'il y avait toute la famille) est chaleureux et le personnel se donne à fond pour vous satisfaire. Après les entrées (foie gras maison - aucun doute - et trilogie de champignon), nous avons pris deux pavés de boeufs absolument délicieux. Malheureusement nous n'avions plus de place pour le dessert mais nos voisins nous ont dit que c'était ce qu'il y avait de meilleurs !
Nous avons accompagné ce repas d'un St Joseph particulièrement bon. Excellente cave.

A typical Parisian bistro, the kind you don't find much anymore. Excellent French cuisine with original and delicious daily specials and a varied menu with something for everyone. The owner is also great... and will recommend wines that are always perfectly paired with your meal. A rare find and a must for anyone who loves authentic French cuisine!!!

Perfect end to a short stay in Paris. Steak aux poivre and frites were delicious. Waiter helped select us a great bottle of red wine and explained (in English) a couple of changes to the menu. We will return if ever back in the city.

Si tu as envie de manger une bonne viande, des champignons cuisinés juste comme il faut, avec ce goût réconfortant de plat fait maison — c’est le restaurant idéal pour s’asseoir, prendre son temps, manger et discuter. C’est en plein cœur de Paris, et Thomas sera là pour t’accueillir comme si tu étais déjà un habitué. Tu vas te sentir à l’aise.

Simply the BEST!!! The owner has created one of the finest small restaurants in Paris. Location is superb in the heart of Paris. The menu is large and features specials like a white asparagus dish that was to die for. His foie gras is simply amazing and the escargot is superior to any I have ever had. We stayed in paris three nights, discovered Au Terminus on the second night and ate there twice; YES I had the foie gras and escargot both evenings! French home style cooking with incredibly personalized taste and service. When ever I am in Paris again, Au Terminus is a MUST for us. Julian Bills Connecticut USA.
