Beautiful views but VERY touristy area. Not much to offer outside of the amazing views (which are better from the Eiffel Tower).

Sacre-Coeur is an amazing vantage point to see the city. If you look right you will see the Eiffel Tower.

Be careful of the vendors selling junk up there. Also beware of pickpockets.

Vue à couper le souffle et sérénité au sommet de Paris.
La Basilique du Sacré-Cœur n’est pas seulement un monument magnifique, c’est aussi un lieu de paix, perché sur la butte Montmartre. Entre l’architecture majestueuse et la vue panoramique sur tout Paris, difficile de ne pas être émerveillé.

Un moment suspendu, hors du temps.

Kente hakim bir tepede muazzam süslü bir yapı. Manzarası harika... Tepeye çıkmak için asansör var. Biletli. Bonjour uygulamsından Navigo 1 günlük sınırsız bilet almıştık. Bu asansörde de geçerli.

One of the most beautiful Churches in the World. She was build from 1875 to 1914 inneo-Byzantine style. The dome ist 83,33 meters tall and the Belltower is 91 meters tall. The church is 85 meters long.

The basilica is free to enter, but there is a line for security. I dont know if its normally busy or if we just caught a holiday but the line was probably 45 minutes or so. The top was closed too, so maybe its actually busier on those days! The church is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a climb.

Secrétaire désagréable, Refus à la nuit d'adoration

La secrétaire (originaire des Îles), qui était lundi soir le 2 juin à 21h34 à l'accueil , était très désagréable. Voici ce qu'il s'est passé :
Elle m'a refusé ainsi qu'à une dame avec sa fille de nous donner le numéro de nos chambres déjà réservées pour une nuit d'adoration, pour 4 min de retard !!. Pourtant elle avait l'ordinateur encore allumé !!
Elle voulait rentrer vite chez elle, sachant qu'elle est restée un moment à papoter ( presque 20min) avec une autre dame , amie à elle.. à noter que l'ordi était toujours allumé !
La sécurité l'a suppliée pour m'accepter "Allez Tata, on va pas laisser une fille dormir dehors", REFUS catégorique de sa part !!
Après la messe, Tout le personnel, le prêtre inclus, voulaient m'aider mais Ils ne pouvaient pas , car Madame était déjà partie et m'avait pas inscrite sur la liste des arrivées !
J'ai dormi dans la rue, à l'abri dans un immeuble !!! j'ai pris trop de risques avec des gens dérangés en plein nuit dans ce quartier !!
J'ai déjà fait des nuits d'adoration mais C'est la première fois que je vis une telle situation !
C'est aberrant qu'une personne aussi incompétente occupe une place importante !
Elle donne une mauvaise image de la communauté de Montmartre, qui d'habitude est très accueillante!

One of my favorite place in Paris but this time (late May) it was too full with too many people. Line was too long couldn't even think of getting inside. Outside was also full of people so those street sellers weren't there (or they were but couldn't do anything). It reminded me of disney land on a holiday. Too packed to see or do something. Better go very early in the morning or none-peak season.
