Let me preface by saying that we went with an elderly guest. Right from the entrance we received nothing but ill treatment. Upon asking for directions at the door, the staff began mockingly laughing as we left to the ticket office to collect paper tickets. Later, upon entering the building, they first forced us to go stand in a corner, then told us to go upstairs. Upstairs, as another employee came in, they actually directed us back downstairs. Downstairs, the staff led us back towards the ticket office to enter the building with an elevator!! At this point, it was already laughable, as the staff clearly had no idea what to do with us. So, after much difficult, inaccessible walking, we enter the elevator with three persons. They finally lead us to a table, which turns out to be crammed with strangers. Fine. However, the table is not even facing the stage; it is the opposite from it. The waiter then comes in asking for our drink preferences. I tell him that I do not drink alcohol, thank you very much, and he offers me other options. He then brings me a 7Up. No mentions of any extra costs. Yet, in 5 minutes, another waiter comes in, telling us the 7Up actually costs 16€. How ridiculous! Well, we paid, and the show started soon after: as I previously mentioned, it was beautiful.
At the end, as we are about to leave, they once again lead us towards the elevator. Yet, as we are about to enter, another staff member tells us it is not possible for 3 people to use the elevator, and that I must exit through another place, separating from our group. The ridiculous thing is that we quite literally used that same elevator to come there. So what the F? It's like they were purposefully trying to ruin the experience with their absolute incompetence.
Never did I expect such horrible, incompetent treatment at one of the more famous, fabulous establishments in Paris. This is truly bordering elder abuse... and discrimination.
Shame on you.
