Visite agréable instructive et bien documentée sur la réhabilitation de Jeanne d arc. Le tout sous forme de petits films de témoignages d époque.

A messy, repetitive, ill-prepared and just plain boring way to tell the story of a legendary historical figure.

The entire museum is done through a slow audio-visual tour that blasts the entire room in french. All the while you are bombarded by the translator-headphones that chatter in 5 different languages all throughout the room. It's an overstimulating mess.

Because of this tour, no one can take their own route or go at their own pace. Some will be bored, and those who crave for details can't read more.

To make matters worse, it's all framed through the eyes of inconsequential characters that have all heard about or met Jean once or twice... this leads to 90 minutes of listening to fake old men talking about some thing they heard about 20 years prior.

finally, and this might not be important to some, but they also leave out all the action and tension out of the story, in a museum about someone whose life was filled with both.

A really impressive modern exhibition about Joan of Arc’s life, full of projections, 3D visualizations, and a strong immersive vibe. The beginning feels like a historical movie you actually get to step inside. Later parts are more traditional, with documents and classic displays. Still, the whole experience holds together well — even those who skipped history class will walk away understanding why Joan remains such a legendary figure.

Audio/video museum recounting story, context, and impact of Joanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc). Helped me understand much more of her story and French monarchy conflict at the time. Audio translation headsets available in multiple languages that were included in ticket price. Timed starts so you could have short wait. Tour takes about an hour.

Maybe it is a great museum once you actually get to visit it ???? We had to come thrice: first the exhibition was not working, then we passed by to verify it was repaired, and when we finally came back they said that the visits only start once an hour. You would think they could mention it the first two times we went in. Level of hospitality: zero.

O Palácio do Arcebispo é a residência oficial do Arcebispo Metropolitano de Rouen. É um Monumento Histórico desde 1862. O Museu de Jeanne d’Arc está localizado no interior do palácio e utiliza tecnologia multimídia de vídeo e som para contar a história da guerreira. O museu também tem uma área dedicada ao mito de Joana d’Arc chamada “Mythothèque”. Custa EU$ 9.00 por pessoa, COM o desconto para estudante. O preço do ingresso inteiro é EU$ 11.00 por pessoa. Caro, mas o lugar é realmente muito bom para visitar. A visita leva em torno de duas horas e o melhor horário para visitar é após às 13:30hs, quando o fluxo de visitantes é muito menor.

Je ne connaissais pas l'histoire complète de Jeanne d'arc. La reconstitution numerique de son procès en réhabilitation est très bien faite et très intéressante.
