El Château d'Avesnes es una espléndida residencia construida en 1862 en un entorno verde. Un salón-biblioteca y una hermosa sala de recepción dan al lugar un ambiente refinado. Las cinco habitaciones son elegantes y confortables. La sala familiar puede albergar hasta doce personas. Aquí disfrutará de una estancia privilegiada y tranquila: el parque forestal de 18 hectáreas le espera para pasear con toda tranquilidad. Para los días de lluvia, se dispone de bicicletas y cintas de correr cubiertas.

Allereerst wil ik aangeven dat de beweringen over boodschappen en het niet willen betalen voor het ontbijt volledig op leugens zijn gebaseerd.
Niemand hier spreekt Engels, en wij hebben zelf boodschappen gedaan omdat wij zelf willen bepalen wat we eten. Er is hier bovendien niemand aanwezig om ons überhaupt ergens mee te helpen of iets voor ons te betekenen.
Kortom, u schetst een verhaal dat wellicht goed klinkt voor uzelf, maar het is puur fantasie en een grote leugen.
Daarnaast verblijven wij hier nu al drie dagen en in die tijd is de kamer niet schoongemaakt en zijn de bedden niet verschoond.
Wij vinden dit onacceptabel en dat zegt meer voor u dan voor ons.

You state that we received an upgrade and a free night's stay. This is incorrect. There was no upgrade, let alone a free night's stay.
You also indicate that we did not want to receive breakfast. That is incorrect. We paid you directly – not through an external booking site – and breakfast was part of a mutual agreement during the booking process.
Regarding the "private kitchen" you mention: this was a complete surprise to us. This has never happened in the past, and there are several reviews that confirm this and which do not align with your explanation.
We therefore request that you base your communication on facts and hope that you will still find a suitable solution for the situation as it actually occurred.
Also we HAVE PAID FOR BREAKFAST US YOU CAN SEE. LOOK THE INVOICE.

Lovely place to spend a few nights while exploring the cute villages around, such as Gerberoy… the rooms are up two or three flights of steps. A lot of early 19th century character on the ground floor. Rooms are renovated and comfy.

Un véritable havre de paix au Château d'Avesnes ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur et une hospitalité qui font toute la différence. Chaque espace est soigneusement entretenu. La propreté des lieux est exemplaire, du confort de la chambre aux espaces communs magnifiquement décorés.
Tout est pensé pour le bien-être des invités : un environnement paisible, des petites attentions qui font plaisir, et un service irréprochable.
