Domaine Robert Faller & Fils: vinos sostenibles de Alsacia, degustaciones y refrescos en mercados navideños.

Desde 1697, esta finca hace vibrar las soleadas laderas de Ribeauvillé. Bénédicte y Nicolas cultivan 11 hectáreas de viñedos de 35 años con métodos de agricultura integrada, con pasión y precisión. Los vinos, madurados en una bodega abovedada excavada a 70 metros de profundidad, combinan la nobleza del roble (60%) con la pureza del acero inoxidable. En la bodega, déjese tentar por un Riesling Grand Cru Geisberg, un expresivo Muscat o un Gewurztraminer Kirchberg. ¿Y en Navidad? Bar de refrescos en el patio de la finca

Accueil très désagréable de la part d’un vieux monsieur. Je pense que la vente à clients n’est pas faite pour lui ou plus d’actualité... Je lui conseille de laisser la place à quelqu’un de plus commerçant et agréable. Son business en sera sûrement meilleur. En ce qui concerne le vin , il est très bon malgré le reste.

A lire certains commentaires , je n'ai pas l'impression d'avoir visité le même endroit , une dame charmante , professionnelle elle nous a fait goûter les vins que l'on souhaité

My husband and I visited on a Friday afternoon. There was not a single other person in the shop. The sales lady indicated that she didn’t speak English or German, which was fine. However, I very explicitly said “no Gewurtztraminer”, which I believe translates perfectly to French. We also pointed to what we wanted. We unknowingly left with three bottles of a wine I explicitly said I didn’t want. The sales lady was very unfriendly and unwelcoming, and she seemed to think we won’t be back. That was our sixth visit to Ribeauville, and it won’t be our last. I write a blog and run a Facebook wine group…. Guess they don’t want American customers. I will be sure to spread the word.

Pity, because we had a good experience there in the past.

A disappointing downturn. I visited this shop two and a half years ago, and found the gentleman attending to be very polite and helpful. Not so much this past week, and with this particular sales lady. When asked if she she spoke English or German, she shook her head “no”. Understandable, and not a problem, so I looked at the price list instead. My wife said explicitly “No Gewurtztraminer”, so I looked down the list and selected a package of three Riesling, and three Pinot Blanc. She quickly packed the bottles and took my payment. “Great!”, I thought, until we got back to Germany and unpacked everything. Three bottles of Pinot Blanc, and three of Gewurtztraminer. Not what we ordered. We’re honestly still unsure if she did this by mistake, or deliberately. Do not visit. Go further down the street to Louis Sipp.

Franchement mal accueilli. La vendeuse fait la gueule et vous dis "dites moi ce que vous voulez je ne peux pas decider pour vous". Au lieu de prendre le temps de vous expliquer pendant que la boutique etait deserte et maintenant l'on comprend pourquoi...
