HÔTEL RIU BAOBAB

The Hotel Riu Baobab is like a member of the premier league among similar hotels. When I stumbled on this gem on the Internet, I know it will be a bull eye. Blue sky and hot sun are the true hallmarks of this hotel. It's a fantasy-land for a lovely holiday. Riu Baobab hotel is surrounded by greenery and an idyllic atmosphere. Especially the "atmosphere", which is the result of the fantastic, hard and a great work of the entire team of hotel employees. Reception team, room service, gardeners, cooks, waiters, entertainment team, pool service, technicians and security they all together are brilliant and friendly people. In particular - the reception team will be able to 'always' ready to fulfill any holidaymakers wishes. The hotel staff takes very good care of the guests and creates a highest level of comfort for them. The hotel is clean and very well maintained.

Stunning evening entertainment created by professional and great team!!! Three splendid restaurants serve fabulous, very tasty and suited to every one person meals. Especially, I would like to recommend Dorayaki, themed Asia restaurant. At the Riu Baobab hotel exist possibility to rent a car or book half day / all day excursions. (eg. Dakar tour or Safari tour, etc).

Additionally - a wide and clean beach, two swimming pools and a splash water world.

I very warmly recommend a holiday at the Riu Baobab. I hereby want to push to the public my the best recommendation. I had there a splendid swim-up room no. 3006 and two great week of holiday in January 2025.

Bel hôtel bien situé au bord d'une magnifique plage. Les chambres sont spacieuses et lumineuses. Les installations sont superbes avec ses 3 piscines, son aqua parc pour grand et tout petits, son espace remise en forme hight tech, son espace soin/beauté très agréable et ses 3-4 restaurants. C'est beau, c'est propre, c'est neuf... Après, ça reste un club vacance qui fait un peu "usine" avec la horde de touristes européens qui débarquent à la semaine pour un séjour farnienté et festifs attirés en cela par la formule all inclusive. C'est un peu surpeuplé en saison.
C'est sur le coté bouffe que j'ai été un peu déçu, c'est pas mauvais, c'est des grand buffet, mais ca reste bourratifs et un peu cheap... Les vins et les alcools sont vraiment à proscrire si vous êtes un connaisseur. La restauration n'est pas vraiment faite pour les fins palais et ça en devient vite monotone pour un long séjour... Mais les enfants adorent... et quand même il y'a plein de bon desserts.
En définitive, je trouve ça un peu surcoté surtout au niveau du prix. On peut trouver meilleur rapport qualité/prix dans la zone mais en tout cas les enfants ont adoré le parc aquatique et pour nous les parents on est resté un peu sur notre faim question appréciation globale su séjour !

Great place! All inclusive????????!! But, but, but for the likes of Riu's, it is not admissible to have some shower draining issues ;)

Top vakantie gehad met mijn zoontje van 4! Alle mensen die er werken ontvingen ons met open armen, animatie voor de kinderen is er zeker genoeg.

Een plek bij het " kinderpark/glijbanen" waar je wat te drinken kan halen zou wel zeker een mooie aanrader zijn. Het is best ver lopen tot de bar omdan weer helemaal terug te gaan me 2 bekertjes drinken. Dus fles water meenemen is aangeraden.

Verder is het eten oke,shows savonds ook en veel interactie met het publiek, wat het extra leuk maakt voor de kinderen. Wel is het elke week hetzelfde , dus als je 2 weken gaat zoals ons heb je het wel gezien ????. Verder zou ik zeggen luister zeker niet naar reisbureaus als Tui of andere en ga gewoon naar buiten, pak een taxi en ga met de locals op stap! HEERLIJK en zo leer je het echte Senegal kennen zonder je blauw te betalen aan een excursie via hun.

Kamers zijn ook op en top inorde.
1 minpuntje was dat de zeep niet deftig werd bijgevuld , na meermaals bellen en 45 min wachten heb ik me wel moeten kwaad maken en dan heeft de leidinggevende van het hotel, meteen gezorgd dat dat inorde kwam. 1 dag later was het weer van dat. Klein werkpuntje maar dit is waarschijnlijk gewoon "bad luck" geweest.
