Nansi at the front desk was very helpful. An overall great experience!

Nice historic inn to stay at. Surprisingly hard to get the shampoo/conditioner/lotion out of the bottles. The room radiator was whistling a lot in the middle of the night. Complimentary breakfast was included - nothing too crazy in terms of variety but you won't go hungry!

Awful experience. Me and my grandchildren visited Rhinebeck for the beauty of the quaint little town, and part of our lovely journey was supposed to be this so-called “oldest inn in america”. When i checked in, the manager Corrinne, asked, “Are you bringing those ones to the island” as she pointed to my grandson. Very unprofessional behavior coming from a manager. As i walked away, she doubled down on the joke, asking my grandson, “Does he molest you?” I did not find this sense of humor funny, and my last name may be Epstein but we are unrelated. Unprofessional and discriminatory!

Do not eat here!! Me and my wife put in reservations to have an anniversary dinner, and the host seated us. Our food came to us cold, so we asked for the manager, who introduced herself as Corrinne. She rudely grabbed our plate and gossiped to another employee about my wife’s appearance. for context, my wife is on the heavier side (340 lbs) and she ordered two meals, which Corrinne found amusing for some reason. I do not recommend eating here, unless you want to be verbally abused while dining.

The manager, corrinne, was extremely impolite to the staff right in front of our table. the food was subpar and we were seated next to an elderly couple that was coughing all night. we went in with reservations and it took them 35 minutes after we were supposed to be seated to serve us. would not recommend.
