The property is decent but I had an extremely bad experience with the manager working over there
Her name is Karina
It was our honeymoon trip and first hotel booked in Mauritius
So we had booked a deluxe room with the balcony
It was clearly mentioned on the booking with the picture that we had booked the bigger room
And I had written mail in advance regarding my honeymoon so that we can get the room with a bigger balcony
But Karina refused to give us the room inspite of literally begging her so many times
She said the room was occupied but room wasn't occupied
Room did not have any occupancy
She told that we need to request for the room with bigger balcony
But online we already booked the room with balcony and she refused

I was extremely disappointed with her service and my honeymoon started on a bad note with her experience

On the other hand
Ryan was extremely hospitable and was very sweet to us.

I would request the management to not let this happen again to others who travel so far for honeymoon only to get disappointed by such acts of people working in the hotel

situated in pointe d'Esny direct acces to the sea. located on the main road leading to blue bay. the sea is of a turquoise blue and the fine sand make you want to stay even longer and enjoy the sun. nice view on the sea.

What a great bunch of people from the security guards to the front of house staff particularly riyyan - lovely setting also, would stay there 100%

Lovely place close to the airport and great for a first and/or last night on the island.
Staff is extremely friendly, professional and helpful and the resort very clean.
The place is older and and a bit tired, but the cleanliness makes up for that in my mind as long as you’re aware going in. We had a huge room above the lobby and restaurant with a large private balcony overlooking the beach. The lounge chairs on the balcony made sure we spent the maximum amount of time outside which I loved. At night there were so many stars, it was just beautiful.
We also make a point to wake early for a beautiful sunrise.
Breakfast was included and very good. We had been staying at Le Meridian most of the week and actually preferred Astroea’s breakfast.

J'ai testé le resto pour déjeuner.
Le seul point positif c'est la vue incroyable.
La nourriture est insipide , c'est coupé à l'eau je pense , vraiment aucun goût ! Pour le prix c'est scandaleux !
Je ne parle pas de la lenteur du service juste catastrophique .
À fuir !

L’accès sur la plage est agréable par contre un fort courant marin empêche de se baigner notamment avec un enfant.
Personnel très accueillant et sympathique.
Le gros point négatif : le restaurant le service est très long malgré le peu de couvert et un menu défini à l’avance.
La chambre est bien, climatisée, taille correct. Par contre nous avons pas pu profiter de la terrasse avec le vent.

One of the most beautiful and pristine beaches I’ve ever seen

Chambres spacieuses avec climatisation.
Salle de bain un peu vieillotte mais il n'y manque quasiment rien à part peut-être un espace de rangement pour poser les affaires.
Bon restaurant. Rapport qualité-prix très correct.
Accueil et service : aimable et efficace.
Accès à une belle petite plage.
Baignade à surveiller car beaucoup de courant.
