Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön und man fühlt sich überall wohl. Allerdings fand ich es etwas schade dass der Stran überfüllt mut toten, spitzen Korallen war. Man konnte an manchen Orten kaum laufen. Das Essen hat mir sehr gut gefallen, große Auswahl und für jeden was dabei. Das Entertainment abends war allerdings nicht so abwechslungsreich. Jeden Abend wurde einfach nur eine Stunde gesungen und das wars. Die Entertainer Mittags, sind allerdings super. Ich habe jeden Tag mit meiner Familie und den Entertainern Kerwin, Flo und Gencent Beach-Volleyball gespielt. Durch die Nettigkeit der drei Jungs gab es keinen Tag ohne Spaß. Im großen und ganzen hat es mir sehr gefallen und ich würde es wenn ich könnte, immer wieder tun.

Overall mediocre with a series of incidents not addressed and not acknowledged, one example among many: one evening without hot water, the next day, no acknowledgement from hotel, nor compensation, another bad one is the scam I was victim by the driver service. This is not a luxury hotel by many standard.

Eine sehr schöne Anlage der Service war top. Das Essen großartig abwechslungsreich und super Auswahl. Die Lage ist super. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Einzig die nicht renovierten Zimmer sollten demnächst mal in Angriff genommen werden. Aber der Blick vom Balkon entschädigt für die kleinen Fehler im Zimmer. Vielleicht wäre das Fernsehprogramm in deutsch nochmal eine kleine Verbesserung ???? Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder das Hotel buchen.

Great view. OK, food. I didn't have anything special to comment on. I had a chorizo pizza, nicely cooked, thin crust. My friend had a club sandwich with salad. It came with chips, not salad. We asked for this to be rectified, they brought out a salad and didn't charge us for the chips, which was good. Compliments from the chef; they gave us some cauliflower soup! Not exactly what you want in the boling heat, but it was overcast. Can't complain about a freebie. I reckon not many people order a soup on a beach front resort ????. Perhaps he had to get rid of quite a lot. Great taste, though. Didn't stay here bit I think they are a chain so easy to check how good they are.

Φανταστικό ξενοδοχείο! Πανέμορφοι χώροι, περιποιημένοι και καθαροί. Άνεση, πολυτέλεια και εξαιρετική κουζίνα στα εστιατόρια. Δοκιμάσαμε και το Teppanyaki για να γιορτάσουμε τα γενέθλια μου και ο σεφ μας εντυπωσίασε! Φροντισμένοι εξωτικοί κήποι περιβάλλουν το χώρο του ξενοδοχείου. Έχει ακόμα και το δικό του ιαπωνικό κήπο με καταρράκτη…τέλειο! Οι πισίνες είναι μεγάλες και με πανέμορφη θέα προς τον ινδικό ωκεανό. Ο χώρος του SPA άψογος! Οι εργαζόμενοι του ξενοδοχείο πολύ εξυπηρετικοί. Οργάνωσαν ακόμα και υπηρεσία κομμωτηρίου που ήρθε στο χώρο του ξενοδοχείο προκειμένου να μας εξυπηρετήσουν! Ήπιαμε γάλα απο φρεσκοκομμένη καρύδα και χαλαρώσαμε με τις ώρες κάτω απο τους κοκοφοίνικες… Το δωμάτιο ευρύχωρο και όμορφα διακοσμημένο. Μας άρεσε ιδιαίτερα το concept με το φρέσκο πόσιμο νερο σε διάφορα σημεία του ξενοδοχείου. Ήταν πολυ βολικό και eco friendly! Αξέχαστες διακοπές στο Μαυρίκιο…Ένας επίγειος παράδεισος! ????☀️????

The Sofitel in Flic en Flac organized an extremely romantic beach dinner for us as part of my marriage proposal. Although we were not hotel guests, Elodie did all the planning with great dedication. Special thanks are also due to Mike, who even exceeded my decorating requests, and Elijah, who very lovingly took care of the service at the table. The surprise was flawless and I am happy that I chose the Sofitel with this fantastic team for this emotianal event.

Na een rondreis door Zuid Afrika hebben we genoten van een verblijf bij Sofitel Mauritius voor een strandvakantie. Het verblijf van het moment van aankomst tot vertrek was een fijne, prettige en gastvrije ervaring.

Joli hôtel plutôt bien situé... même si Flic en Flac ne vaut pas franchement le détour. Le service y est agréable et les propositions pour se restaurer sont très intéressantes. Le restaurant mauricien Jacaranda, mal indiqué sur le site, est excellent: chaque met et boisson est une expérience. Goûtez-y le vin de litchi. Clin d'oeil à Mike et ses collaborateurs pour leur travail.
Chaque soir, le restaurant principal propose un buffet sur un thème différent. C'est l'occasion de découvrir des plats et spécialités du monde entier. Et c'est vraiment très bon. BRAVO.
L'hôtel est bien conservé mais mérite quelques rafraîchissements et modernisations. Il est désolant de trouver un frigo vide dans la chambre (une bouteille d'eau par personne serait le minimum syndical). Le service de taxis est efficace et immédiat. Le service sur la plage est bon, les serveurs doivent parcourir de belles distances dans le sable pour contenter tout le monde, donc chapeau. Ils se montrent aussi attentifs et serviables que possible.
Les piscines sont belles et agréables, les jardins très exotiques et les couchers de soleil somptueux. Un vrai dépaysement.
L'expérience dans sa globalité est donc bonne. Mais une chose à savoir est qu'hélas il y a trèèèèès souvent du vent sur la plage. Mais que peut y faire l'hôtel?

Hôtel somptueux situé sur la magnifique plage de Flic-en-Flac. La situation permet de profiter des magnifiques couchers de soleil. Tout le personnel est d'une gentillesse extrême. Les chambres sont spacieuses et d'une grande propreté. Les repas sont variés et excellents, on a envie de tout goûter ! Chaque jour, une spécialité est mise à l'honneur. Les bars, piscines ainsi que la salle de sport et le spa sont superbement équipés. Merci à tous pour ce très beau séjour.

Sofitel oozed luxury from the moment we entered its driveway. We were greeted by friendly staff who made our check-in process a breeze (special thanks to Arya) and a comfortable room. Breakfast was delicious, and the pancake station a showstopper. Senior Manager Pravind was always a joy to speak to and he made sure we were always at ease. The water sports centre & gym provided good services, and overall it was a great stay for us. Sofitel’s location in Flic en Flac is also unbeatable, being near to restaurants and within driving distance of Le Morne. Will definitely be back.

Der Empfang funktionierte klasse und auch für uns beim Frühmorgens-Checkin war die Lösung mir der eigenen Lounge eine tolle Zwischenlösung. Um 13 Uhr war schon das Zimmer gerichtet.

Super freundliches Personal und von ALLEN immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Besonders hervorheben und bedanken möchten wir uns bei Sanjay für die ausgezeichnete Betreuung im Gym.

Das Abend-Buffet ist phantasiereich und schmeckt klasse. Das Lobster Menü am Strand war ein richtiges Highlight und auch das Showcooking am Teppanyaki Grill war sehr lecker und für uns etwas ganz besonderes.

Vielen Dank an das ganze Küchenteam, die pausenlos das Buffet neu anrichten und die Gerichte wie ein „Gemälde“ immer wieder neue auf die Platten zaubern. Sowohl Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Nachspeisen lassen keine Wünsche offen. Alle Allergene sind auf den Schildchen vermerkt und je nach Themenabend sicher fast 50% vegetarisch.

Mit den bunten, aber frechen Vögeln hat man es beim Frühstück schnell raus, und lässt einfach nix „unbewacht“ stehen, so kann man das ausgezeichnete Frühstück in allen Zügen genießen. Die Dame an der Eierstation ist ein Sonnenschein und sie möchten wir auch von Herzen hier grüßen. Am Strand hat es zumindest zu unserer Reisezeit im September Oktober ausreichend Platz, so dass immer ein Lieblingsplatz gefunden werden konnte. Es gibt jeden Tag (wenn man möchte) neue große und kuschelige Strandhandtücher. Den Platz kann man sich also im Koffer sparen. Ausflüge mit dem Taxiservice klappen super. Wir haben immer einen gut englisch sprechenden Fahrer verlangt und bekommen und mit Herzblut die Insel von diesem gezeigt bekommen. Waren so im Süden, im Norden, In Port Louis und im Casela Park. Und mit Sunny per Boot zu Delfinen, Schnorcheln und zum Crystal Rock unterwegs. Auch ein sehr lohnenswerter Ausflug.

Unser Fazit: Ein Megaurlaub mit vielen schönen Erinnerungen (nur der Langstreckenflug ist für uns erst wieder etwas, wenn wir so viel gespart haben, dass man mehr Beinfreiheit buchen kann- Sowohl Hin-als auch Rückflug war echt eine Tortur)

Leider wird man dort beklaut. Keine Erfahrung, die man machen möchte vor allem nicht im Urlaub!

I am a member of Accor and recently the international one from Australia. I travel the world over from Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and all Islands in the Indian and Pacific oceans. I stay in 5 star hotels everywhere I go. I go to Fiji almost every year where I feel so welcomed and at home in sofitel. Apart from Mauritius, even if there is a need for security, NEVER have I encountered so much restrictions, security checks, interogations, be assessed, made to wait at the gate before being allowed clearance to enter after the gatekeeper has contacted management AND a mysterious someone in authority. NOWHERE IN THE WORLD do I have to suffer such humiliation in the company of my palefaced companion and in the process making me feel so cheap as if I am begging to enter the hotel. Everywhere I go in the world, may it be at Sheraton or any other, I enter freely and enquire at the reception to have a room or have lunch and dinner at Sofitel if booked out. Sofitel Mauritius practises RACIAL DISCRIMINATION .... FULL STOP. With your backward mentality it is as if the locals are not allowed to mingle with the PALE FACED TOURISTS and are not considered as human beings and equals but undesirables. NO ONE IS LESSER OR GREATER THAN ANY OTHER in this world. Mauritius Sofitel openly applies its own rules of discrimination and restrictions against the darkfaced locals. I was also denied my privileges to my Accor membership on an imaginary dictatorial attitude that I had to be a resident. Such is not the case
in Sofitel FIJI or anywhere else. Only during low seasons that Mauritians are invited to stay at hotels in Mauritius. HYPOCRITS. I find the employees to be rude, they speak in a dry could not care less tone, never smile and at times aggressive in their vulgar Mauritian way they answer back. I also noticed that they would suck up to the palefaces as if in a master/slave relationship and bow down to their demands. Anyway I actually had dinner there on that night. I ordered a beef Mongolian with rice. The rice was not basmati and not of the best quality for a five star hotel. The beef Mongolian was hard and chewey as if overly deep fried spread over thinly sliced green peppers and onions. I have eaten lamb Mongolian in Australia and China and the meat melts in your mouth. I find this Sofitel Mauritius hotel to be disgraceful and it needs to take a good look at management practices of discrimination, rough treatment of guests at the gate by the gatekeepers and ill-mannered innatentive waiters in dictating their own rules as per their likes and dislikes or what suits them at the actual time. Such is what it is in this uncivilised corrupt island of Mauritius. Such behaviour of discrimination DOES NOT exist or tolerated in civilised Australia.

Sehr schöne Anlage, Essen super. Die Getränke sind sehr teuer.
Die Reiseberatung war nicht sehr hilfreich. Es wurden keine Möglichkeiten gezeigt die man auf Mauritius erleben kann. Wir hatten lediglich eine Preisliste und die Telefonnummer der Dame.
Wir waren sehr froh dass wir dann Kevin vom Taxi Desk im Hotel kennen lernten. Er hat mit uns eine Tour gemeinsam gemacht und uns zwei weitere empfohlen. Es lief alles so problemlos und unkompliziert ab. Die Touren waren der Hammer. Kevin vielen lieben Dank nochmal an dich. Es war uns eine Freude dich kennen zu lernen.
Was wir sehr schade fanden dass am Abend keine wirkliche „Animation“ stattfand, wir aber leider keinerlei Informationen dazu hatten. Singt eventuell doch jemand, wann beginnt der Sänger/in. Das war sehr schade. Man wurde über gewisse Dinge zu wenig informiert.
Für uns war es auf jeden Fall ein sehr toller Urlaub. Wir haben die Zeit in ihrem Hotel genossen. Das Essen war lecker, die Auswahl war groß und qualitativ sehr gut. Die Poolanlagen sind sehr schön und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We were generally very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, the amenities were top-notch, and the ambiance was delightful. We would consider staying here again in the future.

C’était incroyable

Une belle station très calme et paisible. Nous avions une chambre Magnifique au 3ème étage avec une vue fabuleuse sur la piscine chauffée et l'océan. Tout le personnel, y compris les femmes de ménage, était vraiment très sympathique et serviable. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était généralement bon avec beaucoup de choix et un très bon poste d'œufs. À notre arrivée, nous avons choisi d'essayer l'offre demi-pension pour 3 nuits, mais nous avons annulé après la première visite car aucun des plats de viande ou de poisson soi-disant chauds n'était même chaud. Je les ai tous essayés, et pareil pour les légumes. Après avoir immédiatement commenté cela, nous n'avons pas été facturés pour la première visite. Heureusement, il existe une variété de bons restaurants parmi lesquels choisir à Flic en Flac. Nous avons pris un taxi pour aller et revenir les 10 nuits où nous y sommes allés. Nous sommes allés deux fois au restaurant chinois de l'hôtel, Ming, car c'était très bon. Cependant, à chaque fois, il n'y avait qu'une seule autre table occupée, donc il manquait un peu d'ambiance. Globalement, 2 semaines très agréables ici.

Ils ont une douche dans certaines chambres, et si vous envoyez un mail, personne ne vous répondra, même si je vous demande de dire non et de réserver une chambre auprès de la réception, vous prendrez votre droite.

Un des meilleurs site de villégiature à Maurice. Une fois passé la grille vous entrez dans un paradis.
