VILLA ELYANE

Abbiamo scelto questo piccolo B&B (5 camere) perchè poco fuori dal centro, dieci minuti a piedi dalla Petite Venise, situato in una zona davvero tranquilla e molto verde. B&B davvero meraviglioso: parcheggio privato, stanze molto ampie - camera da letto, sala molto spaziosa, con scrivania, poltrone e divano, addirittura due televisori, mai accesi. Camera molto pulita, dotata anche di una macchina per caffè espresso e di bottiglie d'acqua omaggio. Doccia con getti d'acqua per piacevoli massaggi. Colazione molto buona, con una buona varietà di prodotti salati e dolci. Proprietaria molto gentile. Possibilità di giocare anche a biliardo. Straconsigliato!

From check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful. Villa Elayne is a beautifully restored home. They owners did a wonderful job modernizing while maintaining the historic charm Beautiful and clean guest rooms. Soft towels and bedding. Lovely toiletries. The Breakfast Room is cheerful and comfortable. The breakfast options are abundant and delicious. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Check the website closely. There are more amenities here than any B&B I've ever seen. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Accueil chaleureux avec entre autre un mot de bienvenue avec les noms des clients de la villa. Stationnement sur place, petit déjeuner excellent. Les 5 chambres sont localisées dans cette ancienne résidence. Très bel escalier impressionnant! Rapport qualité prix excellent. Nous recommandons fortement la villa Élyane pour un séjour à Colmar.

We stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms - a larger one on the 1st floor (my daughter and I) and one on the 2nd floor (my sister). Both rooms were very spacious, cozy and immaculately clean. The bathrooms are very modern with beautiful tiles and great showers. Our larger room had 2 sinks and a large full sized tub in the center of the room - which we wish we had used (but did not get a chance to soak!), always pressed for time. The smaller upstairs room looked out to the back, and had an exterior balcony with seating. Both rooms also had a mini fridge with some complimentary stocked drinks, and tea/coffee pot. |Florence was a wonderful host, and she was on site mid day so we could drop off our bags. The elegant villa is on a quiet street / safe neighborhood only a few blocks from the train station, making it an easy option for those travelling by train. Florence has detailed the fascinating history of the home and its former owners in a book for guests to read. The walk into the old town is an easy, scenic 10-15 minutes. |We were greeted each morning with a warm wood fire in a stove in the foyer and a most delicious breakfast, which included home jams, breads, pastries, beignets, cheese, meat, yogurt, granola, and a colorful tray of fresh fruit. The downstairs included spaces for lounging, a pool table, and lots of books to peruse. The garden had new daffodil and crocus blooms.|We toured Colmar on Day 1 by foot, then rented a car and toured Chateau Haut- Koenigsbourg, Ribeauville and some smaller towns. Warning to visitors: when we returned from touring the Chateau, we found our rear window had been smashed and my Longchamp bag with some extra clothes and umbrella was taken. (Ughhh, we tried not to let it spoil our time in this wonderful area of France.)||Highly recommend a stay here at Villa Elyane!

An excellent b & b within easy walking distance of the centre. Off street parking and very welcoming hosts. Very comfortable room and superb continental breakfast.
